Postal delivery at sawyer is terrible. I get a text with the mail I should receive everyday. Whoever is delivering our mail opens the box throws the mail in there however leaves the box open. My mail has been brought to me by different neighbors because it’s blowing all over. Trying to find a local number is impossible so I would like a response so I know someone has read this. Thanks. How hard is it to close a mailbox? Too much of a hurry. ?. Respond to me at see I know this was received.

I too have had a long running problem with the post office here. As a previous poster indicated, they come when and if they feel like it. There's no standard schedule, other than "some of the time they come around the same time, but don't bet on it" In the winter we're lucky to have mail delivery twice a week. And it's not due to mail boxes being a safety hazard. The guy doesn't even go up our street. our mail box is cleared for about 100 feet but the flags will still stay up for days at a time with out mail being picked up. The summer isn't really much better. The guy has also 'lost' packages, then left notice that there was no safe place to deliver, and indicated we should come to the post office to pick them up. The time indicated for delivery, I was in the front yard with my daughter. Noone came by. Just bold face lies to cover up failure to do his job. I've called about the shotty service in the past, when I talked to someone they laughed and asked just what I wanted to happen. I Said "How about firing the guy" and he laughed. I asked what was so funny. His reply was "He's only had a few dozen complaints" A few DOZEN? I asked "Why not fire him?" and to quote. "Oh we don't fire people for a few dozen complaints. You need WAY WAY More than THAT" and he hung up on me. They have absolutely no fear of reprisal for doing a bad job.

I am providing a compliant. I am disgusted. Since having a new delivery person my mail has been late and at all different times. I feel like when its convenient for him to come down my street he does. I just called the post office this morning and he debated with me about my mail box being a safety issue. He advised me the snow is not removed properly. My mail box is always cleaned out because my father plows or I paid for snowblowing. My neighbors on my street advised me this occurs every winter and if the majority is not plowed out he will not deliver. I have important mail arriving within this time of year and it upsets me. But 5 days with no mail? He claims he delivered mail but my flag has been up since Friday night of last week and its now Thursday today. Poor service but I hope its cleared up because hes giving the post office a bad name. Sawyer residents on other streets have told me as well they have had an issue.
