Lisa at the Dewitt office has been such a great help with getting a package that had an error on it due to our fault. She went above and beyond without hesitation to assist me. Lisa should get Postal Employee of the Year in my opinion. She was truly a blessing to me when I needed help and I appreciate all that she has done . Your amazing Lisa !!!!!

I got an unexpected postage due package. the mail carrier refused to fill in the line that tells me who it came from three days in a row. so now even though i live in Lansing, I have to go to Dewitt to get my package that I don't if I even ordered it. It could be something that was due next week but that was free shipping. If I knew it was that I would file a complaint with eBay return it to sender and get my refund. but since my carrier won't tell me I have to pay to find out. On top of that its not worth my time and gas if it is what I think it is.

I want to apologise to my mail carrier here in Dewitt township for not clearing the snow around my mailbox. I cleared it Tuesday along with my driveway and the side walk in front. My wife said she heard the street snow removal around 11:30 pm. I found out later that the carrier couldn't leave our mail because he couldn't get to the box.

I never have an issue with any of the other services such as Amazon, UPS, etc. I’m convinced that the US Post Office is unable to compete with today’s technologies and service model. Bare minimum I should not feel like a jerk for asking for assistance at the local branch. I DO NOT experience this level of rudeness and/or limited options with other carriers. So forgive me for my anger and surprise that this old fashion way of handling simple situations still exists.

Like ok i may not not have put my mailbox back up after someone took it out by mistake but after filling out form to forward mail to a po box and bought a po box wouldn't u think they'd be able to drop off mail right to the po boxes and packages to po boxes..... noooooo they send the damn package back to sender to have a physical adress on the box while i got other packages with my one address still on it put in my po box its pick and choose apparently so now i know not to ever pay for anything that concerns the dewitt posy office cause they dont feel like doing their job already

I've always have had great postal service in the 25 yrs that I've lived in DeWitt. My initial postal lady I had was always nice and friendly, plus delivered my mail at the same time daily (+/- 30 mins in the winter months). My new postal lady is the same way. Any package deliveries were brought right to my door and delivered with a smile. My experiences in the post office have always been highly positive, with the staff being very friendly and very helpful, when I needed help. I'm very grateful that DeWitt has its own post office and has a hardworking staff. I can't believe there are so many negative reviews. I wonder how many of these negative reviewers would do working for the post office and in the conditions the staff is working in. Would they feel respected and be very happy to help those who demean them over what many others would see as quite frivolous complaints?

I was in the Dewitt post office yesterday to drop off a package around 11 AM. There were two women working the front counter. One of them was Angela I believe. I asked if I could borrow some tape to close my package and at first she said she didn't have any, then noticed my husband who is in there all the time and she then proceeded to look for some. While getting my package together, the conversation between the two employees was appalling. It was extremely vulgar. They used explicit language that was totally inappropriate. I was extremely disgusted. Needless to say I will not be using this post office any longer.

Do not go here for passports. The person who takes care of them is not always there between the posted hours.
