Can you please call. I had two packages that said delivered from two separate places yesterday. I’m sure they were delivered to neighbors. How do I get them or get reimbursed? Thanks! Andrew vedder. 248-515-4110. 1267 Southfield rd. Birmingham mi. 48009

Terrible service at this location and I receive the wrong mail several times a month. Can't talk to anyone because they never answer the phone.

Bobbi is in the right business for giving the post office a bad name. Her attitude is perfect for continuing to ruin the reputation of the post office. If you’d like to be treated like crap, give Bobbi a call. She’ll give you attitude like you wouldn’t believe. She will even put you on hold without saying anything to transfer you to someone else after telling you she “isn’t giving you attitude” 5 times. Trust me, she’s giving you attitude. It’s been 10 days since my father in law mailed out a 2 day priority package. My package was in their facility for a week before it got sent out. I know that because I gave my postmaster the tracking information and he looked it up in the system. Only after my father in law called his post office did my package move. But it still doesn’t have any tracking information 10 days after he sent it. I get they are trying to cover their butts. However, this is the only post office that seems to take 3 days or longer before a package actually leaves their facility. If you like being treated like crap and lied to, this is the post office for you. If you like being treated like a human, go elsewhere.

After many hours and weeks of trying to solve a problem with the Bham USPS staff, I have learned that the postal union has arranged with the USPS that if a mail delivery person does not "feel safe" that person does not have to deliver the mail to your mailbox. Soooooo, if your mail person is terrified of birds, or you haven't shoveled off your steps to his/her satisfaction, or someone else's dog is loose across the street, he/she is within their union contract rights to NOT deliver your mail. And if they don't feel like putting a package behind a door, they don't have to - they can just throw it onto the porch, even if it's marked "fragile". They've recently gotten some good staff in the lobby, and the office manager was replaced. But the delivery people are still a work in process.

Does anyone know (other than cold weather) why no mail delivery since Tuesday January 29?

I am generally pleased with the Post Office services and staff itself on Bowers Street. My problem is -- several times -- local mail delivery. I have NEVER not received a single piece of mail on any given day. It is 8:20 PM. I have two letters out for pick-up. There has been no mail delivery whatsoever so far today. I subscribe to "Informed Delivery Daily Digest" and there are several pieces of mail I was supposed to receive today. Yesterday, there was a piece listed that was supposed to be delivered that day -- it was not. I don't know whether it's the carrier or another problem, but it's becoming a great source of frustration.

I was just there with my son who is on the spectrum. He was taking a picture of the scooby doo stamps. I was told that photography could not be taken inside federal buildings. I checked with someone who works for the government and said this is not true and I could not find any such law online. My son started to get upset so we left without mailing the package.... But really.. you can't let an autistic kid take a pic of scooby doo stamps? You had to make a thing of that? And because he is a rule follower he erased the pic from the phone :(

Worst post office I've ever had to use.. they NEVER answer the phone, and I have called as many as 25 times in a day. I NEVER get my mail after a Vacation Hold, even though it is supposed to be delivered by the carrier, lines will be 10+ long and they will have 1 person working the counter at peak times, while 3-4 others wander around.

This post office has a real problem following mail hold requests. No matter what I do, whether I fill out the yellow "mailHold Request" or whether I request mail hold on line, the mail continues to be delivered. One time I went to pick up my mail, and there was no mail to be picked up. I had some mail in my mailbox, but I didn't think it was all the mail. In December 2017, same thing happened. What can I do for them to get it right ?

I like this post office better than any others I've been to, and drive out my way to go here as I don't live in Birmingham. It's got a great parking lot, easy to get to the dropoff boxes, and the interior is spacious and clean. I've had a wait upon occasion, but often I use the automated machine in the lobby to mail packages or just go in to drop them off. Never had a real problem here, and when it's busy they always open another register or have someone walk around and ask if they can help.
