This post office seems to leave the phone off the hook so that they don't have to answer it. I wonder if they are understaffed and overwhelmed. I'm trying to find out why my mail is not being delivered, since a 40-minute round-trip drive to pick it up at the P.O. is more than a little inconvenient.
After an hour or so of trying, I was able to get through to the post office on the phone and spoke with a very pleasant and helpful staff member named Dustin.

I informed the staff that the light bulb was out in the entryway to the post office. I encouraged them to get a new one. They said they were working on it. It takes a long time to process something like this. Long story short, it took them over a year to replace the lightbulb. The older gentleman needs to be gone. Rude, offensive, ornery.... The woman who works there is the total opposite. She is customer service oriented 1000%.
So it needs to be said that the older man who works in the Poland Post office is extremely mean and rude to everyone. He yelled at a group of 5 people and told us all to leave and that wont help any of us. All I wanted was to purchase stamps and apparently the computer was down and instead of just letting us know he came out a scream at us twice and I said "I cant help any of you so leave!" Unfortunately its not the first time he has been so rude and when you ask anyone in town they all have a story about how rude he was or how he just yelled at them. He really needs to be let go. Even his fellow co-workers say sorry for him after and say that he is extremely mean to everyone. I know this is probably not the first about him but hopefully something is done soon. Thank you
Question: In the past few weeks there have been numerous times I have left mail in my box but it is not picked up. This happens even when mail is delivered. It is very inconvenient. What's going on?
The man behind the desk is incredibly rude. He does not even acknowledge the customer's existence. A simple "hello" would have sufficed. He then refused to give me a receipt that for the prepaid package that I brought, which I needed to prove that I sent it. Other post offices that I have used have been able to do this for me. Overall, another reviewer summed it up well- incompetent and not even the bare minimum of customer service skills.
I tried to have my mail forwarded to my new place but I'm having difficulties with the post master. I tried to ask that my mail be forwarded and his reply to me was "he doesn't know why my mail is not being forwarded". I feel the post master is very incompetent and has no customer service abilities. I'm very disappointed in the services at this post office.
