Great neighborhood USPS. Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. I was sold stamps, had 3 packages mailed, labels printed for 2, and a 3rd he even added some tape to it for “safety”, and bought 2 more large plastic decorative envelopes for sending future items. Some rude customer (my wait was less than 3 minutes and they walked in the door in front of me) complained loudly about wait and were then trying to purchase UPS mailing boxes LOL. The clerk kindly offered the USPS boxes. The 3 of us in line just LOL as that person used profanity and stormed out, then acted a fool squealing tires pulling out right in front of the local police, he did get pulled over. Karma.

I asked the post office to hold my mail--but they delivered the mail anyway. I was fortunate that my daughter looked after my place when I was gone for a week--she brought the mail in. The Postal service offers a hold service--why wasn't it followed when it was set up????????????????

Terrible service and unreliable. Home all day to pick up and still have to drive there to get. Awful service.

Came there 3 min until noon today and a young guy was totally rude and said we are closed til one. Ummm 1157 is NOT noon and it was for stamps BUT if there was a stamp machine outside in the lobby like it used to be you wouldn't have half the people waiting in line nor would people have to WAIT MINUTES upon minutes behind people taking forever just to get one damn stamp. Maybe you could bring back the stamp machines in post offices!!!

Not very eager to help with postal issues....no employee EVER answers the phone in this post office and the toll free # ALWAYS has a 1 hr + wait time. We have had issues with our mail since early Dec 2018 and have spoken to at least 2 post masters and with USPS on the phone with no resolution!!!!

If you do a Google search for "Walkersville, md post office", the most logical option to select takes you to this "POSTAL LOCATIONS" page for Walkersville, MD/ Why not have a menu of post office services--even it is a drop-down menu--to get to a specific service page at this post office, e.g., Change Address, which is what I need to do, instead of making the user Search. He/she might not know what to search for, where a list of services would give the user some clue.
