Awful customer service really makes you rethink using the postal service for anything. I returned two items to two different companies on Dec 7th, by dropping them off at this post office with the postage already paid by the companies. As of Jan 13th neither package has been received and the tracking numbers have not been scanned by the post office. When I called up there the lady who answered the phone said if I didn't get a scanned slip saying they received the packages that it was my fault. However, with Dec 7th being right at the holiday shipping deadline there was a lady in the lobby taking all packages that were prepaid when you came in the door. She didn't give any of us a scan slip. Of course when I said this to the lady who answered the phone she still said this was my fault. So now I have not credit for my returned items because this post office won't even look to see if they have some package left over from the holidays that were not shipped. I'm out of money and this post office is USELESS!!!


The Rockville city Post Office is barely functional. There is always a very long line of customers, and plenty of unnecessary drama in processing them. The staff have language, technology and mental health challenges. Though I guess it's generous of the P.O. to employ such people, it makes no sense to attempt to service the public without competent help. One star is generous here for a 45 minute wait to send a first class envelope to Canada!
