I cannot express how much agony we have gone through within recent months with our mailings. First of all we were asked to complete a forwarding address form when a new mail clerk arrived here. We complied and expected that is there was difficulty with our physical address being used by some of our older contacts, these would be forwarded to our PO box in a timely manner. In addition, some of the websites offering purchases will ask for a billing address vs. shipping address. Very often, they will choose to send to the shipping address which is not the PO box #.
We have had a lapse of 6 weeks in the mailing and receiving of our income tax W2 forms because of the forwarding this postal employee is using. As a result we had to order new mailings of these documents which was very difficult from Social Security and employer.
In addition, our mortgage statement was forwarded and late by 2 weeks which cost us $40 late fee, plus a charge card statement of the same routing---costing $25 late fee.
Packages have been routed all over the country because of his inept handling. I stood in front of him one day and the package was in our post office. He refused to give me the package. I am at loss to explain that he has asked us to put a mailbox on our street so we can have packages delivered to our street address.
I have copies of these pathetic handlings and can provide them to you.
One package I just tracked has left Ridge Post office 4 times to be rerouted. It is now in Illinois.
I need this item It was mailed from merchant on March 9.
We've complied with the forwarding form, paying our annual PO box fee, and are US citizens wanting the mail as it should be received.
Please help in this matter. My husband just asked this clerk why this package ended up in Illinois after having been delivered to Ridge Post office 4 time..... He said he has no explanation. I can provide dates and copies if necessary.
