I am signed up with Informed Delivery Daily Digest which emails me what mails I should expect to be delivered that day even include pictures of the mail, it has happened on multiple occasions where I’m informed I will get certain mail and one would be missing and it is always the important ones like my child support check. I am at 8903 Primula Drive and on multiple occasions I have received mails for 8905 Primula Drive. I get my mail from the Damascus Post office and The carrier is careless and this has caused me so much trouble and time wasted having to call multiple people and have things reissued and pray they are delivered the second time. I went into the post office and spoke with the manager Hanidu regarding my concerns. I don’t know if I just wasted my breath but now I will need to spend hours on the phone with the government trying to get my child support check reissued AGAIN! PLEASE BE CAREFUL DELIVERING PEOPLES MAIL!!!

Terrible service! Tracking of a package indicated it was delivered on a specific date but it showed up two days later. Recently in a ten day period we did not receive mail 3 days out of ten. Recently the mail (when delivered) has been past 7:30 PM on route 124. On Saturday 3 packages were left on the outside of the garage door with no protection from the rain (we have a fully covered accessible front porch). Maybe if they keep raising the cost of postage they can hire some competent people.

The MD RT124 delivery route. Seems like the increase in stamp costs did not improve the motivation problems. I gave USPS a pass for not delivering mail during the bad weather and hazardous conditions we have experienced this winter however they are back to the old tricks. We did not receive mail delivery on 03/07 and again on 03/09. We operate a small business and there is no way we do not receive mail daily let alone the junk mail. Several weeks ago we had a package delivered on a Saturday that was left outside with no protection from the weather at our BARN! The house is 100 feet further up the driveway.

I have security cameras covering my driveway and mailbox. I received emails that two packages were delivered. Both by USPS and from different senders. It stated that it was placed in or at my mailbox. Nope. I reviewed the security camera footage and there was no USPS truck in the driveway or at the mailbox anytime within 15 minutes before or after the specified delivery time. This has happened before and USPS traced the truck by GPS history and was able to contact the driver to pick it up from the wrong address and deliver it. I hope they can find these two items. The USPS service in Damascus has deteriorated in the past two years. Misdirected mail, etc. In fact, my neighbor did a hold while they were gone for a month. The postal delivery person was still trying to stuff items in the packed mailbox. I retrieved the mail and held it for her. I also contacted her by text to tell her the hold was not being honored. She emailed the post office as well as called them and confirmed the hold. I still picked up her mail at the box since they still did not honor the hold.

I am very upset with the service that we get from our postal service here in Damascus. For years now I get other peoples mail and they get mine. There have been times when I NEVER got mail that was expected. Just recently I ordered checks and DID NOT get them. I called where I ordered them and they said they had been delivered 10/25. I had to pay for another order , then call my bank which then charged my $35.00 to cancel the checks that I NEVER received. They then told me that they tracked the order and looked like it was sitting at the post office. I NEVER got any notice that you were holding my checks. I don't understand what has happened to the US Postal Service . I don't ever recall this happening growing up and even as a young adult but for years now our service has been unreliable. It seems to be the norm for our times. It is truly upsetting and disappointing that for what ever reason your staff either don't care or can't read. Trust me I am not the only person that feels this way. I am sure there are some good workers but I'm tired of the ones that we seem to have in this area. Please try to do better.

WHY is mail not being delivered until WAY past 6:00 p.m. The business day is gone before the mail is delivered. Our driveways are long and hard to navigate in the dark. I have even driven to the mailbox to eliminate the possibility of falling. This delivery schedule is unsatisfactory at best.

I have been coming to this post office regularly for ten years. Never had a problem. Some of the newer younger workers not very professional, but the lady referred to below has always been a much harder worker than I have ever seen, always professional. The only problem is it is often understaffed but this is a small town and it's rarely busy.

Some of my mail is lost. They were very important documents. I called yesterday afternoon and was told I needed to speak directly with a carrier this morning. I was told to call between 8:30-10am to reach a carrier. I have called 15 separate times this morning and cannot get through. It's always a busy signal. I've tried different phones, verified the number, etc. Now it's too late to reach a carrier.

Slow service. There is one clerk, of Asian descent, apparently did not attend the class of how to treat your customers. She was really rough, she sounded a bit angry when speaking to me, regarding moving and registering for the forwarding to the new address service. She was still there last time I was there, which was late last year. I had spoken to her regarding the forwarding service over 10 years ago. No wonder federal employees have a bad reputation, she sure has job security.

The Damascus Post Office is a great post office, especially after the old postmaster Ms. Belcher left 2 years ago. She was a HORRIBLE lady- barking at the clerks and criticizing them openly in front of a line of customers! Very nice to see a new nice postmaster up there. Max Dement

Postal service is so bad ... I constantly get mail that is not addressed to me and do not receive mail I am waiting for. I have had late charges because of bills not received, financial statements lost, and most recently had to track down a certified letter that was signed for and supposed to be delivered 3 days prior. Complaining has not helped - what to do from here?

This post office is terrible. All of my packages get lost and no one can ever tell me where they are. Each time I call an employee tells me something different or does not make an attempt to update me on the status of locating my package. Many times I thought items were lost and they just had them in the back of the post office and no one had checked. I was told they would launch an investigation but the next woman went to the back and found it the next day. So when things are supposed to be delivered, they do not arrive and then I have to drive 40 minutes from my house to show up and pick up my things. And still no one can tell me why my items are never left in my mailbox or at my door. This time, I paid for 2 day shipping. It did not arrive, but another package did. I called to ask, and I was told to call back the next morning. I called and I was told I would be called back in an hour. Two hours later I called because they did not contact me, and I was told that whatever they were waiting on would take another hour. My package was supposed to arrive yesterday and still, no one can tell me where it is. This has happened on at least 4 different occasions. And no one seems to care.
