I am missing a valuable piece of mail. I visited the PO and they said I could not speak to my carrier b/c they retired and it is a bunch of different people. They said mail would be returned to the sender but that has not happened.

Cumberland Maryland: Our local post office is on Park Street. I have been having a problem over the last couple years with outgoing mail not being picked up by the postperson. I have called a couple times about this issue. I even mounted a red flag onto my mailbox that can be raised to indicate we have outgoing mail. The post person walks past out box, it's not like they have to go out of the way to pick up our mail. Twice in the last 5 days our outgoing mail has not been picked up. I end up driving over to Park Street to drop the mail off at the blue box. Tell me why this is happening ?
