Our mail delivery is excellent. Mr. Lee is punctual - he arrives at 3:00 p.m. every day. You can almost set your clock by him. If you ever have the good fortune to actually speak with Mr. Lee, his cheerfulness will be obvious. And he takes the extra time to deliver certain items right to your front door. I am not the only neighbor who feels this way. We know we are lucky to have Mr. Lee

1.No one answers the Catonsville Post Office phone number. 2. I paid $18+ to have an envelope delivered to me in 2 days - signature required. It is now day 3 and it still isn't here. 3. Why does no one clean up this Post Office?

I am sorry to say POOR. I live on North Symington Ave. Have not had service for three days. Who is running the place? If they do come it is past five pm. Different people all the time. Why dont you set up routs with the same people. this increases familiarity with the route and faster more accurate service. Always getting others mail so I assume others are getting mine.

Mail delivery has gone from bad to worse over the last 5 years! A different carrier comes every day. Perhaps this is so no one person may take the blame?? If you stop the carrier to give them the letters which they just misdelivered, then they blame the downtown Baltimore central office. I blame them for not READING the front of the mail. They are NOT doing their job. Are they singing, listening to music, talking incessantly on the cell phone? Yes. Is the post office completely incompetent? Yes. Did misdeliveries and non-deliveries ever happen in 21228 over 10 years ago. Never.

Sadly we go days with no mail despite the email notification indicating mail should be delivered. I put mail out to be picked up it say in the box for two days before the group that delivers packages must have picked it when they dropped off a package since did not receive any actual mail. I go to another batch to mail packages out since the folks at the Catonsville branch are not the most pleasant employees. wish I could get my mail from another branch

I, too, receive meds through the mail. The Catonsville PO has not had a stellar rep in the past. Delays and rude counter personnel are becoming the norm. The rude people are not going to change but the delays MUST be addressed now. When one tracks a package and finds it is in the Catonsville PO, it may languish there for days and sometimes weeks. This has become the norm it seems and should be remedied asap. The emergency inhalers that I absolutely depend upon are there, in the Catonsville PO. The VA tracked the inhalers and told me they would be delivered on Wednesday before 9 pm. I am still waiting. Phone calls to the PO are not answered. It appears that "going postal" now means mail delays, hollow excuses and the blame game. I AM STILL WAITING! p.s. my inhaler will not last me through the weekend. Matter of fact, it will be empty by tomorrow. Disgruntled and disappointed in Catonsville

I recently relocated from Saint Paul Minnesota, where George Floyd was murdered on May 25, 2020, at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department. The murder by officer Chauvis sparked a worldwide demonstration for African Americans because all over the US police are killing African Americans who have not broken any laws, at an unsurmountable rate. On July 1, 2020, I found at the 1001 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD. 21228, postal facility wallpaper depicting slaves who were shackled by white men. I was traumatized to say the least because I am an African American woman. I upon returning home notified the Postmaster at 900 E Fayette Street., and asked that the offensive wallpaper be removed. As of today, Monday, August 31, 2020, I have received no response. I understand all the USPS issues rude people, lost packages, displaced mail, no mail, etc., but "SLAVERY" wallpaper has got to be the lowest form of disrespect that there is. please remove the wallpaper. Thank you very much

I am looking for my Original Birth Certificate that was sent to get a passport. I received the passport on July 29,2020 and haven't received my Original Birth Certificate as of September 24,2020. This is most distressing. It was mailed out July27,2020 from US Dept of State Charleston Passport Center, in which I contacted them and they stated" We sent it out on July 27,2020". Someone can forge my name with my missing Birth Certificate. Where is it?

Now I have had to put in a forwarding order for a business. I went in person 3 weeks ago. No confirmation yet; mail not being forwarded. I called the local number and it just rings and rings. Nobody answers. I go on the 1-800 number and am told wait time is in excess of 1 hour! This is ridiculous!

After expecting at least 2 packages yesterday (1/19/19) we were told by tracking that they had been delivered to addresee. As of 10pm, we had received no mail. We checked this morning (1/20/19) looked around the house, combed the porch... NOTHING. Where are these packages ???? Who has them ???? This is not the 1st time this has happened, and the mail carrier has been coming in the dark after 8pm almost every night with a flashlight. What kind of professionalism is this ???? We are so tired of this !!! Why lie and say you delivered a package you didn't deliver ??? God help us if this was an important document or heirloom ? So DISGUSTED !!!!!!!

Worst post office I’ve been too. Tried to complain about not getting regular drop off or pick up of mail and called multiple times but no answer. Went to the office and called while waiting in line only to watch an employee stare at the phone while it was raining and not answer it. I called 8 times while waiting in line and not once did anyone even acknowledge the phone was ringing. The phone literally rang for 10 minutes straight without a word. When I got to the desk and asked why they don’t answer the phone all I got was a shrug and and something about it not being his job. Worst post office, customer service and postal workers I ever interacted with.

Why are most of the post office employees at this branch are some of the laziest workers I know! If it wasn't that they are union they would have been fired in the private sector. This is an at will to work state, start firing incompetent people! My beef today is I have people working on my house and they block the mailbox by a foot. The woman couldn't even get out of her truck to deliver my mail. Making them deliver by foot like the old days before they were given vehicles, maybe they would change their tune but I doubt it since they say they are federal government employees. Well if they don't get any funding the USPS would go belly up. So people maybe we should find other means to deliver the mail and put them out of business.

By the reviews I'm reading here I see that I'm not the only one who receives deplorable service by the women who work behind the counter at the Catonsville Post Office. Today I was treated like a child, when, upon submitting an envelope to be mailed certified, and asking if my signature was required at the upper right of the green card, the short lady who works at the left of the counter, looks at me shaking her head like a bobblehead and sarcastically asks me ""Why I think I should put my signature there?" It was delivered to me in a tone of voice that contained utter contempt. When she saw that I'd forgotten to put my name and address on the back of the card, she pushed me aside and signaled for the next customer even though I'd just about finished writing it. This will be the last time I use this dreary place for my mailing needs. I will go to Arbutus instead.

We continue to get other people's mail. There have been times where we do not receive mail until the third day. If we are getting other people's mail, where is ours going that we don't know about? We know we have not received all our tax forms and they say they have been mailed and verified our address. Our service has gone down since we lost our regular mail person. Our mail arrives any where from noon until 8 p.m. at night...we just never know when it is going to come.

We are living in the year 2017. This post office is designed for people who...what...ride horses to the local post office? There is no parking! A business would not be allowed to operate with no parking, so why is our taxpayer funded post office allowed? Inside, it is a veritable horror show. For decades, with few exceptions, the staff have delighted in keeping everyone waiting as long as humanly possible and when you finally get to the counter, they are as rude as humanly possible. Can Catonsville get a little attention from headquarters please? This is a disgrace.

For years they allowed access to their fenced in, gated parking lot to customers and then it was suddenly off limits to us. Wish I knew why. Parking is limited but there is a church lot across the street that allows parking. The office is usually very crowded. I don't think the inside has changed in 40 years. A step back in time.

A couple of weeks ago, the Catonsville USPS driver dropped off a package IN MY DRIVEWAY - and left it there!! I got home after dark and didn't see it, and I ran over it. It was fluorescent light tubes, and needless to say, they were destroyed. After spending hours on the phone talking to various people, I finally was able to get someone to understand, and they filed a complaint for me. A few days later (last week), I received a call from someone named Frances Hardy at the Catonsville Post Office. I told her I felt the post office should reimburse me for the lights ($40), and she said she would get back to me shortly. It has now been a week, and I have heard nothing. When I call the post office, no one answers - the phone just rings and rings and never shuts off, but no one answers. Given the poor reputation this post office has had for many years, it seems to me they should be making an effort to improve their services by resolving customer issues such as this one.

I rarely write reviews-good or bad. But our mail carrier for Frederick Road in the Catonsville village area is very poor. He delivers mail with a phone plug to his ear-talking while placing mail on desk. The other day the mail was soaked-never had that happen before-ever. We frequently receive mail for the office next door, and just today I realized I haven't received my BGE bill....probably next door. I feel as though I can't trust this carrier with our mail! I am all about giving people the benefit of doubt, but in this case I think this employee is just plain bad at his job. Would greatly appreciate a reply to ensure someone is paying attention. This is service at its worst. I have bewn calling for the past week to check on a package that was never delivered and they (catonsvills post office) dont pick up the phone. When they do they just put me on hold. I have stayed on the phone for over an hour TWICE with no response. Its really shameful that the "UNITED STATES POST OFFICE" cant offer a better service. People trust them with very personal items and there is no way to retrive them.

This is worst and very very lazy, not interested in job . This is how they behave to customer if they ask anything . No one will give the information. I have got a mail from USCIS , they delivered to my old address in Catonsville then I call the usps Catonsville and told to forward the mail . They told me they will forward , actually mail is delivered in my postbox Catonsville on Jan 9th, from 14th I am calling usps Catonsville to forward the mail . But they didn't yet forward the mail . If I call them they are telling already we forwarded the mail to your new address . Then I tired to check my tracking status it shows that it's still in Catonsville old address . When I call to customer service they are telling we will contact the usps Catonsville and we will were the package is so they opened a case for searching of package on Jan 22nd . Upto now they didn't yet given any information and when I ask they are simply telling already they forward the mail to my new address . Ok if they forward to my new address it should delivered in my new address with in 2or 3bussiness days because it's a priority mail if it's delays may be one week . But it's more 15days,I didn't yet received it . If we call usps and asking regarding the they are simply ignoring my call. They what I have do now , they are simply telling sorry for inconvience . Because as I am an international students EAD card is very important to me . Without EAD card I can't work in Usa and if I apply also it will 90 to 120 days of duration and I have pay them $380 again. Please really I got worst experience with them . I won't forgot in my life time . This worst worst careless behavior with them .

I sent a package from New Zealand to my daughter in Catonsville which could not be delivered because she was not home. She then went to Catonsville Post Office to collect it, and the woman there wouldn't give it to her. My daughter has left that post office three times now in tears because this woman was so grumpy and horrible to her. So she left without her package. I sent this on January 5, and she still hasn't got it. Her partner is very sick and she wants this package. I have tried to call from New Zealand but no answer! Not Happy at all!! :(

I had a package which was supposed to be delivered today Sunday JULY 3rd! The delivery man came and after 15 minutes of looking he found out the package was left at the facility!! What kind of service is this?? He told me either himself or a supervisor would be back to deliver! I have been waiting all day, and have been out front working on my bike out of our garage! I was supposed to ride in the Fourth of July Parade tomorrow with my son but now thanks to your negligence that is not happening! The part I needed so desperately and ordered from Amazon knowing it would be here in time. Did not make it. Also someone from USPS notified Amazon that they tried to re deliver which is Major BS because I was outside here the whole time! Now I will not receive till Tuesday when I no longer need the item so bad! Thanks a lot for RUINING my holiday along with some SPECIAL memories with my son!! Whoever the supervisor is needs to get a new job because he/she SUCKS at theirs and they are pure Liars!! The deliver man seemed nice but he is now considered a LIAR as well!!! WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO YOU HIRE??? Honesty is always the best policy you know! I would like to know the Supervisors name! They can contact me at anytime! Thanks a lot!! You are the Worst!! Happy Holiday!
