Overnight package delivery service case. The package was not delivered to the address on Sat, Nov 26 as contracted. Has not been delivered as 1 pm Nov 28. Perishable Package was suppose to be delivered to address not picked up from USPS Office.

I never write reviews but I’ve felt that I should today. Just got off the phone with Vineyard Haven post office. They picked up right away, and were super courteous. Answered all my questions and were so polite. I just moved here and was made to feel very welcome

I have PO Box 4390. My mail is supposed to be forwarded to Florida until the end of May. Some of it has been returned to sender. This doesn’t even save the post office time or money. Forwarding mail isn’t optional. Every US resident has the right to free and safe mail delivery. As others have noted, the Vineyard Haven postal workers don’t answer the phone, and some are downright rude. They’ve told me it’s the option of each office how to conduct business. I suspect there are federal laws that must be observed. I want my mail!

I try to avoid the black lady with the braids at all costs! She is so unpleasant that it literally ruins my mood when I have to deal with her. I will tell someone to go in front of me to avoid her. She's probably good at her job but she definitely isn't a people person. Everyone else is so pleasant and helpful by comparison. Today I had to deal with her and she asked me for my ID! No one has EVER asked me for ID. If that is a part of the job I get it and that's fine but she's rude!

I could not agree with you more, she’s just so unpleasant! Not sure if it’s an upside or not, but we are NOT alone in feeling this way about her. (I let people go in front of me to avoid her too)

Called continuously to ask for my rural route delivery to start up but no one answers phone. What do I need to do. Do not want to come into facility. Just want my mail to begin delivery to my rural route box.

I have tried to reach the post office on 508-693-2818 and no answer now for three days, all calls during your posted open hours. we need to open an account and delivery to our home in Edgartown on 15 Clevelandtown Rd as we are moving to the island permanently in May. I want to confirm that there is delivery to this address and then what we have to do to initiate delivery. thank you and please let me know if there is better time or number to call. Brian Meany

This is for the Vineyard Haven Postmaster. I wrote to USPS twice to complain and never received a response. I have two problems, of which the first is the biggest. At the beginning of February I submitted two changes of address for two of my children. My box was closed and ALL of my mail was forwarded. One of my children had to pay a lot of money to have life-saving drugs returned to me. My scond complaint is that TODAY the USPS computer showed that a parcel I was expecting was in my "Locker" shortly after 1:00PM. At 3:00PM the yellow card to claim the package was still not in my mail box.
