I had a wonderful experience just now with an employee at the post office, A package was delivered that didn't have my P.O. box number on it. They made sure the package was held and actually put my P.O. Box number on it and didn't send it back. Can't thank the employees! They handle so many packages and get a lot of flak. They helped me get my package!!!

Worst post office, rude and unhelpful! I have always left my prepaid packages on the counter, no need to wait in line to have them scanned and hold others up, until recently a package was not scanned and went missing. I went in person to inquire and was told it never reached them, though I personally left it on the counter. Thinking this was an isolated incident, I continued to leave more packages on the counter, only to have a repeat. I left 2 packages left on counter, 1 of them scanned and tracking, the other gone missing again. Perhaps the barcode isn't printed dark enough, and can't be scanned? THEN Return it to me, they have no problems returning for insufficient postage and my return address is ALWAYS clearly visible. what are they doing with my packages?!?!?!? I am out a lot of money because of "missing packages". I will wait in line now to watch them scan my packages! Pathetic when you can't trust the post office!

I was supposed to have a package delivered by UPS, but after following through their tracking I was told it was delivered to my local postal facility. Tried calling the Townsend Post Office and spoke to an extremely unhelpful person named Josh who said if I could give him the USPS tracking number for my package he could find it. I tried to explain it came through UPS and that they said they delivered it to them. He told me they get too many packages and it's not worth his time to try to see if my package was there. Will now do everything I can not to support them. Way to encourage more people to use Amazon and other shipping options and make yourself obsolete.

Update: I decided to drive down to the post office because I was so irritated over the situation. Spoke to a nice guy there named Isais who was and to find my package in literally 30 seconds. Guess that 30 seconds was just too much to ask for from Josh especially considering they post office was empty when I picked up my package. I hope a manager sees this and does something because that job is clearly too much for Josh to handle.

This office is the absolute worst along with the drivers. I’ve never had so many issues with the post office. I rely on them for medication and have been lied to about my medication that is not delivered. Literal medication I need!! Peter is of absolutely no help. My Wife is currently in there parking lot in hopes to catch a driver and find my package before they close, oh know know.. after my mail and other packages made it. Just not my meds…awful post office!!

Had my mail held for vacation many times. The last few times I had no luck. Either there is mail in the mailbox while I’m gone or they do not deliver on the resume date. 👎

Package delivered 9/12/17 with tracking no. 9405510200828512203186. Never got into my box 626 and we had them check if on the shelf there as it may not have had the p.o. on the package. What happens now? The people there can't find it and if the package goes back to the sender will the tracking number show it?
