I am a tenant of 14 Main Street in Hudson and I have watched the mail carrier who delivers to this building enter the public spaces of this building with no mask multiple times since the new updated mask order went into effect over a week ago. This concerns me as mail carriers cover large areas and come into contact with many people while working and can pose a greater COVID spread risk. I am disappointed that this carrier has chosen to not only put themselves at greater risk, but the entire community he serves.

I had a Bill that HAD to go out yesterday. My postal person never showed up to pick it up and drop off my mail. I called at 4:30 and said,.. are you holding my mail? It never got delivered. She said,.. They are still out for delivery. I said at 4:30!!? My mail usually comes at 12:30, She said, well then if they don't have anything to deliver, they don't have to stop and pick up outgoing mail??? Is that true, or was she doggin me??

We used to love our postal service delivery person. She was on our Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving holiday gift list. Amazing. Since she has retired, local postmaster hired a friend... who consistently delivers the wrong mail, and has a bad habit of jamming mail into the box. It takes an act of congress to unjam boxes and mail. We have tried talking to him. Doesn't listen and is aloof. We have tried talking with the postmaster - in effect SEVERAL neighbors have. They have done NOTHING. What a sad state of affairs for our postal carriers...
