On 5/21/22 I had a package shipped to my mailing Street address, NOT a PO Box, and my tracking # directed me to pick up a rather large package at the Post office. The clerk first told me that the tracking # was incorrect, then after the clerk communicated with another employee, And then I was told it was delivered to. PO Box and had been picked up. It was purchased through Amazon, & they directed me to the seller. Both parties refused to refund me. The item in question was large you would have needed a large vehicle or pick up truck to transport. Why is it the post office would just give a package to just anyone. My experience seems a bit shady, where is my package? I’m out &160 !

Wow - called to find out what had happened to a package, and was treated incredibly rudely, and addressed as though I was a moron for not understanding what the scanning process was for packages. A month after the order, package still not delivered. Horrible communication style, lack of patience and consideration, and they just don't care. The excuse - "it's scanned in Vineyard Haven, and we're three days behind"... No wonder USPS is going out of business - I'll pay extra to not use them ever again on the island.

Horrible customer service. Talked to an employee on the phone who was rude and mean. Never using this post office again. Horrible!

after moving here year round, I changed all my mail to the PO Box in Edgartown. I have had10 different attempts to have new checks delivered w/ the new address. Banks do not like PO Boxes (fraud) & all those checks (ie 250). where they were never delivered. One box snuck thru to the PO Box w/ only the Street Address. This is ridiculous. AND Now w/ the USPS end of delivery contract, I had a 50 Pound Bag of Dog Food delivered to my little satellite PO. New sneakers that were never delivered, etc, etcwe needed a fork lift to get the bag in the car. whenever I go to the Egg Po & ask for missing mail & packages they just roll there eyes. Stranded...

I live in Oak Bluffs and had a delivery sent in my name to our sons Edgartown Address since the sender did not recognize my OB zip code. I was in and out in five minutes with my package! Thanks

I think I owe the post office money because I was not charged enough when I sent my packages home to Ohio and it is absolutely impossible to get anyone to answer the phone for help!!! The Edgartown P.O. was probably short of $110.11 on June 22, 2016.

I went twice to collect a package that according to an email from the post office had been delivered to general delivery. Both times the man at the counter told me "We don't have your package, lady." After I made him go check again he said "Well, we do have this one for you but not the other one." hmmmm, right. Terrible customer service. Guess he just hates that cushy federal job on a beautiful resort island. Still haven't found the missing package.

The Edgartown post office is by far the worst post office i have ever been to. They have no clue what the phrase customer service means. Today i was literally told" you again" come another day because i am not going through 400 packages to find yours as they just arrived" its not one worker its everyone that i have ever encountered there, absolutely no customer service whatsoever for a nice town as Edgartown. I think a lot more people has complained about this issue and nothing is being done about it as it only gets worst, i really wish i had an alternative as to how to get my mail that i didn't have to go there.
