This Post Office is disgusting and the staff are the rudest people i have ever come across in public service. My tax dollars pay their salary. Who do they think they are talking down to people. There is NOT a mask mandate in place and they act like you are a convict if you try to walk in without a mask. They'll call the police, please do. The police couldn't come out to report a violent car theft i experienced but they have time to come out cause of no mask. It's not even a law. That staff needs to be fired, relocated anywhere but where they are. Do your job or quit. They haven't heard the last of me either.

I live on W. Harrison ave. My wife and I are home all day and when I went to check the mail, I had a notice that a package required my signature and was attempted delivery. How could this be possible when all they had to do was ring the bell....It has been a week and I am having trouble tracking down this package. I call the number that is listed here 504-483-0993 and get a recording that the number is no longer working. Why is postal delivery so pathetic here in Lakeview? Not only do we not always get packages, but mail maybe 3 times a week (if we are lucky)....

This is the 4th time this has happened; I went to check my mailbox no mail. But, I when I was leaving I found it thrown on the second step of my stairs with a rubber band around it. I believe it is illegal to just throw your customer's mail on their stairs and leave it there, I have a mailbox for my mail. One time I saw the carrier actually bowl a tiny package up to my front door! It was tiny smaller than your hand, my mailbox is large. What the hell is going on with these mail carriers. If they don't want to deliver my mail they need to find other employment. I am very angry about this. I do not expect this to happen again. I do not think this was one of my regular postal folks. This happened on 1/29/2018.
