No one in my area has received mail in over a week. The area is Willowdale in Metairie. Packages have been being delivered but no mail. I was sent an item last Thursday (the 6th) and have not yet received it (it was sent from a downtown business.) What is going on?

Packages are being stolen in my apartment complex because the carrier is leaving them on top of the mailbox and marking it left with individual. If you don’t want to do the job you applied for how it’s suppose to be done; then find something else to do. My medication was stolen and now I have to go without waiting for them to resend it. They never answer the phone and when you go in to complain you’re seen as the problem.

Is there any estimation as to when the Metairie post office will open and carriers will resume delivering mail?

I go in to sent a registered letter and find there are no pens on the form counter and you can't talk to these rude animals because they will bite your head off. The way you fix this is to hire people with an IQ over 50. Good luck finding that if you only consider blacks for the job.

The mail person is leaving packages by the mailboxes in my apartment complex, it is the second day in a row. It is not my package but I delivered the package to the door for the resident.Same resident today, too heavy for me but it can easily be stolen. Why not leave a pink slip of bring it to the door?
