It seems my service is provided as the carrier sees fit without oversight. Packages are delivered to my home if it’s not too much trouble. Or notices are left indicating delivery was not possible. How was leaving a package at the gate as they have been since 2007 NOT POSSIBLE ? I have made it clear packages can be left at the gate. Unable to deliver means unwilling to take the time. I recently received a notice stating PACKAGE LEFT IN NEIGHBORS BOX. No indication as to who sent the package so I have no idea what it was I contacted my neighbor who first denied knowing anything then 10 minutes later came to my home to say yes, he got it , and left it at my gate. Ive had packages left at the gate unmolested for days as there are only 3 houses and no outside traffic and its been safe. But packages in their mail box , finders keeper. Let me ask AGAIN , please, if a package is too large for my box leave it at the gate. And if UPS leaves packages at the post office for uses to deliver and your carriers don’t FEEL like bringing them out then TELL UPS NO! I can’t report the package lost to sender since I have no idea what it was. I don’t know if it’s part of another order or something sent as a gift. Apparently it was worth having as someone else now has it.
