Why can't the postal person on my road come to my house and leave packages? They always leave a card and never attempt to deliver the package. Really upset about this, can anything be done.

If your residence is not over 1/2 mile from the carriers line of travel, they are required to attempt delivery to your residence. The notice left in your box is left if no one is home to accept delivery ( if signature for delivery is required). However, if you have given the Post Office permission to leave packages, they are to leave them at your residence.
