Mail delivery is always late and not delivered daily. I was expecting a package that showed was out for delivery, it didn’t arrive. The website showed an attempt was made but failed. This is false because we were home the entire day leaving the light on at the porch so the carrier could see. There was no attempt!! This is not the first time this has happened and the postal service in Madison needs to get their act together and hire more help. Don’t make false excuses when you fail to deliver.

I am inquiring about an article I saw in an old newspaper archive. My Great Grandmother Emma Gaul lived in Madison, IN and I found an article saying she had a letter to pick up. It was in the Madison Herald Newspaper Archive on April 29, 1884 Page 4. Is there any possibility that letter is somewhere in Madison still? We had Gaul relatives there and I work on geneaology and would love to see the letter if it never got picked up. Also Christian Gaul from Madison. Thank you so very very much! Sylvia Kaiser Wheeler

I'm not sure why my mail has not been delivered in over a week and also when I went to do taxes it said my address is vacant??? This crap is unreal I've been at the same address for 2 years and not had a problem till now so I'd like answers and the reason why it's saying vacant ...you need to make sure crap is taken care of properly or get your crap in order, thanks

We have not received mail for two days! We did receive a couple of packages but no mail. This is not the first time. I don't want excuses. When Jason, our regular mail carrier, is on duty there has never been a problem. He is not delivering this week. Is it a management problem? Not having competent subs or enough subs IS a management problem. Jason is competent, friendly and courteous, and knows his customers. You don't have enough Jasons. Maybe you should start actively recruiting. John F. Kalb

iam so tired of my mail being mishandled. I have had my regular mail delivered to wrong address, I have had my mail delivered then awhile later my mail carrier has to come back by again and drop off mail they forgot and finally I have had multiple packages get delivered to different locations. I get an email saying my package was delivered then when I go to track it it says it usually has been delivered in the morning (I don't even get my mail till 3-6 in the evening!!!! I have called several times over packages and nothing is being done. I have tried to be nice up till now ,now it just getting freaking ridiculous. 47243 is my zip code

Almost 6:30and still mail not here. i know about the virus thing, but this is not first time No mail a few months ago and I called and asked for a supervisor and was told she was on a route and would call me upon her return. Still waiting for her call. Another time we had mail missing and my wife caught him on his way out of our street and he said so you expect me to ask people of it

There is a man that works the counter at the MADISON POST OFFICE located at 207 Jefferson St, Madison, IN 47250 who is the kindest, sweetest, most pleasant postal worker I have ever encountered, and I've been to a lot of post offices in the region. Do not know his name but he was there today 1/25/2020 at approximately 11:15am, and he was also the same man that waited on me at Christmas time with my Christmas cards. Wish I had asked him his name today so I could personally thank him for his professionalism and awesome personality.
