Package was supposed to be delivered Saturday. It was not and the excuse used was a lie. Excuse was No access to delivery location. My driveway was perfectly clear and my road was open. Weather conditions were fine. Trying to call post office now but they will not answer phone and after so many rings it hangs up on me. This is the third time this has happened with the lying about why package could not be delivered. I was home and watching for them and never showed. This has never been an issue with UPS or Fed EX. I live in Henryville and the post office is making me so angry.I have made several complaints and attempts to rectify the problem but my mail keeps getting returned to sender. This has even prevented me from closing on a house I was attempting to purchase. I have even been there in person and remained very nice because I know it is not the clerks fault. Problem is they don’t answer the phone half the time either.

I don't get my mail half the time. I live in Memphis Indiana. Sometimes my mail is opened before I get it. That includes my bank statements. I have called in the past.

I live in Memphis, IN and almost daily, I get other people's mail in my mailbox, which means parts of my mail are being delivered elsewhere. The times of getting mail are often inconsistent. One day I might get mail by noon, then others my mail might not arrive until after my kids get home from school after 3pm. I have lived in a few very large, major metropolitan areas in the country, and I have NEVER witnessed this much bad service from a USPS anywhere else. Currently I have a credit card bill that I am normally supposed to have by this time of the month, and right before the holidays with my credit card info, floating around....Marvelous. I am about to start lodging complaints, perhaps on the federal level, and anyone that finds themselves here with these same issues that a few of us have voiced in this forum, I am kindly asking you file complaints on this location, as well.

I do not get my mail on time. Sometimes it is delivered several days late. I have had several things that I paid to have delivered by a certain day and it isn’t delivered. And it is at the post office. I check tracking numbers and it says that delivery was attempted and it was not because I was here waiting on the package. I have security cameras and it shows there was no delivery attempted. Also says that there was a notice left. And there is No notice! This has been happening for over 2 years. I attempted to tell the post office and they only defended the carrier and would not listen to anything I had to say about what the carrier is doing. I seriously think this HAS to be against the law. I have been very patient (over 2 years) but my patience are about out and I am seriously considering calling the U.S. postmaster. I understand that things happen occasionally but this is out of control ridiculous! This mail carrier seems to just do whatever she wants. If she thinks a package is too big she won’t deliver if it won’t fit In The mailbox she either shoves it in or won’t deliver it because she doesn’t want to walk to the porch. That is her job!

I have been receiving mail deliveries at my home in Memphis for several years now and I am extremely disappointed in the service we have received. We are constantly having issues with our mail person. They leave "attempt to deliver" notes but never make the effort to deliver (I work from home, and am here 9-5 everyday.) There are days that the mail does not run at all which causes delays with our bills, important mail, etc. When I have called the post office, clerks have hung up before talking so they do not have to deal with the public. When I actually do talk to someone, they are unhelpful and do not work to resolve any issues. After talking with several family members and friends who also live in this area, I have come to realize that this is a common problem for them as well.
