I don’t know who the lazy man is that fills in for our usual delivery woman on Jewell Road in Illinois; but he is the worst possible driver the government could employ. Without fail, he always shoves my mail in the box and forces in packages which don’t fit, causing damage. His one and only job is to deliver mail. He is paid to do his job. If a box does not fit, he can use his two legs to walk to my door. Our usual woman (been delivering here for at least 28 years) has NEVER treated my household with such disrespect. I shouldn’t have to regularly call and complain. There are plenty of individuals who would love to replace him and they would do infinitely better.

My regular business letter to 421 N County Farm Rd, Dupage Cty Dept of Community Services. sent from a Wheaton home address was not received, said the recipient. Therefore a benefits application, which has a deadline was denied. Can every postal worker be trusted? Are there annual background checks? Where is my letter?

I really don't know where to begin. A package that was held up in customs (not your fault) didn't make it to my home before I moved out of state. I had a Hold on my mail as well as a Change of Address issued on June 30th online. When I tracked the this package it shows that the USPS deposed of it on July 16th ????? You had my COA...that's $50 that was thrown away. Wheaton Danada Post office Sent a car payment on 6/22 to Buffalo NY. As if today it is still not there but in Elk Grove village 2 days ago. Today is 7/9. Beware of sending anything of importance or time sensitivity with USPS

I have not been able to get in touch with this office even though they are supposed to be opened until 7PM CST. I had a package I'm trying to get and they forwarded it due to a "change of address" - but the "change of address" was for another name - not mine - no idea where this package is going and I can't get in touch with anybody.

Because Amazon isn't a part of the USPS.

I have asked the post office to make sure that their delivery person (different all the time) does NOT walk through my front garden to get to my door. I have a driveway which should be used for that purpose. They constantly tramp down the plants and dirt which causes a low area in the garden causing not only dead plants but an uneven garden. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET THEM TO STOP?! Last summer I put up a ridiculously ugly sign which pointed out that it was a garden and not a walkway. Now that its winter time, they're tromping through that area again. I was told that the PO tells their employees to walk the fastest way to the doors and that means walking through yards, over fences, through gardens, etc. WHAT??!!

You might want top think about putting up a little fence. I think plastic ones can be had for $5-$10. Not worth getting worked up over. Just be proactive and in turn helping yourself will help others.

Worst post office, ever. They told me I had to mail a large letter (which was in a large brown envelop) as a parcel. The fee was the difference between $1.78 and $2.87. So, it wasn't the money; it WAS the principle. I took the envelop back and drove to the Danada Post Office. They said it was a letter & the fee was $1.78. Then, I took it to the Carol Stream Post Office. They said it was a letter & the fee was $1.78. Remember: I was doing this because the Wheaton 60187 Post Office insisted it was a parcel. Once again, they are wrong. And, they don't acknowledge it. This post office needs an attitude adjustment and lots and lots of training.

I've had similar experiences but never let it bother me to the point of spending $10 in gas running around to different post offices to prove a point.

I disagree with the review below. I go there often, there is almost always a line, and the workers there don't even TRY to appear, as if they are concerned with the lines. I have seen workers leave to "go on break", when there have been more then 8 of us in line. At least make me feel as if you are trying to get the lines moving, Last week there were only 2 girls, and at 1 point, 1 of them, took her time moving packages to the back, when she could have carried all at once, she made 4 trips. What!!!!

Their automated postage machine has been broke for weeks now. It does not dispense postage properly. Postage either: a) doesn't come out, b) is jammed in the postage dispenser and you have to reach up your hand to get it.
I regularly don't get my postage and/or stick my hand up there to find 4 or 5 other postage their from apparent others who never got theirs.
Fix it please!

I get superb service from these very hard workers. I've had my business P.O. box there since the mid 1990's. They really know their field of work and provide excellent suggestions.
