I live in a rural area with horrible mail service. The postal lady is allowed to work at her own discretion with no one to monitor her work. On December 12, 2020 we received a notice that a letter needed to be signed for. I went online, scanned the QR code for redilivery. The next day, we received our mail and I assumed the letter had been delivered. Today, 10 days later, I received another notification. I watched the postal employee drive by my house without stopping for a signature. I had to drive to the post office to sign and receive the mail that thought was deliver 10 days ago! How inconvenient! When I asked the post master about this activity, she could not give me an answer as to why the postal employee just drove by without stopping! Complete lack of accountability!
