I've been living on N. Imperial Drive in Peoria for over 10 years. Today, I found out we are losing the only good postman we've had in all that time. His name is Steve. He's been fast, accurate, so polite and caring it seems he's from another time when courtesy and conscientiousness were of prime importance in the world. He even uses the key, that was provided to him by the complex, to bring our packages not just in, but to each apartment, regardless of floor. He's never on his phone, he delivers mail to the correct boxes, he doesn't try to run away if you have a question. I have a sense of dread about who will take his place. It's bound to be a major disappointment to all customers who are going from the only good delivery person we've had in 10 years. Thanks. Steve. You will be sorely missed. Another route is about to get so lucky.

I live at 3714 N Vincent st. In Peoria Heights. The mail person is a white guy and he never ever checks for outgoing mail. He is always on his phone and he leaves my mail in the front yard instead of in the box. When I have outgoing mail I have to chase him down to come back and get it. When you call the only number available to get something done about these things the call offers everything but complaint department. Where the heck do we go from here? I’m sure the post office doesn’t want people verbally complaining to the postman himself. What options are left?

I had an amazon delivery yesterday. They usually leave them outside on the ground by my mailbox. I once had a cell phone delivered and left on the ground in the rain. I have a long driveway and can't see my mailbox from the house. Yesterday, they surprised me and came up the driveway. My ring doorbell captured the video of her stopping before the 2 porch steps and literally threw each package onto the porch. I had fragile items and I am glad they didn't break. I have the video if anyone is interested in seeing who she was. It's not the first time I have had trouble with their service.

I am complaining about the mail carrier who delivers my mail to n Illinois Ave Peoria heights. This man throws all my packages onto my porch...what if I have something breakable in there? Its starting to annoy me now and I have him on my ring camera doing this!!! Please send me an email address so I can forward my videos!

Post office delivery woman for the 61528 Hazel Nut Drive area has completely and utterly ruined my day, and my mail experience. I was screamed at for having my car parked too closely to the mailboxes. I can understand her frustration, however, there are more civilized and morally correct ways to handle a situation as simple as asking someone to move their car. She yelled at me angrily for no reason, which has ruined my day. She drove truck no. 8206494 and can be identified as a short, frail, wrinkled, Caucasian woman. Someone please show her this.
