May 24th 2017 I received a tracking email that said my package was delivered in my mailbox at 3:15 it was not I went to the post office to ask if the mailman had made a mistake and I got a run around for 45 minutes and they said that it was delivered at my house the next day I asked the mailman at my door if he delivered it to my house and he said his GPS told him it was I told him he was mistaken because it wasn't and he was not concerned I went to a few neighbors and they didn't have it I went 2 blocks down and found a similar address on a different street name and it was delivered there where the homeowner gave the package to me 2 Days after it was delivered to him so I guess the mailman was a liar or his GPS was wrong this particular mailman was more worried about listening to his Radio headphones then he was concerned about paying attention to his address numbers and streets delivering the mail the supervisors at Palatine post office were not very helpful at all

Received a tracking email that a package I NEEDED today was to be delivered. Didn't come with normal mail. Called Palatine PO and told that the package is in Forest Park-email by USPS says it's on its way to my house for delivery-I state I am reading an email that says it's to be delivered today. Told I am wrong and don't know what I am talking about-very rude, very inefficient and when I asked if I could pick it up in Forest Park was told "I have no clue, goodbye". Unbelievable!

Complaint: For several years the postal deliveries have been made by walking across my front yard, thru my landscaping to the front porch mailbox, creating a path during dry and rainy (mushy) season resulting in my having to redo my lawn every year. I have made personal request to almost every mail person and have been told it is a training route but that notes have been written to correct this issue - this is an issue for me and as of today 11-18-2016 it is unresolved.do I need to contact the Post Master General for this simplest of requests - will the Post Office in Palatine, IL want to pay for landscaping fees or a consolation fee to me so I can continue undoing what the Post Office personnel continue trample? This has become distracting and disconcerting at this point - please advise!
