Postal Locations

Saturday hours for Monroe Center, IL, Post Office are listed as 0830-1200. I arrived today, Saturday, 8/19/2023, 1115 and there is no one here. Are there new hours of which the community has not been notified nor are the hours posted on the door changed?? Please advise. Thank you.

The post office in Monroe Center Illinois doesn’t follow the actual operating hours at all!!! It says 7:30-11:00 Monday-Friday they are never there before 8:30am, Saturdays is supposed to be 7:30-12:00pm, no one is there before 8:30am then either and last Saturday 1/8/22 no one was even there not open at all I went multiple times to check. They need to follow the actual hours of operation or just let us all have mail boxes at our houses!! It’s ridiculous! Unreliable and lazy employees!!!!

Once again I have another form in my PO Box stating that I have a package in the back area that’s too large for the PO Box. It was about 11:10am when I arrived on Sat. 10/23. The window was closed and nobody was there. Window hours are supposed to be until 12:30pm on Saturdays according to the website and the hours posted on the window. This is beyond ridiculous. Another person came in while I was there and said she has 4 packages behind the window, but nobody is there when she goes to get her stuff, either!!! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS UNRELIABLE, LAZY, IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF YOU HAVE “WORKING” AT THE MONROE CENTER POST OFFICE!!!
