Postal Locations

Seems I am not the only one not getting my mail. Waiting for a letter for over a week even though I said I never received it on the Informed delivery page. Now today I got a notice that a package was delivered to me yesterday, but, alas I never received it. Have no idea where it is. Unfortunately, our letter carriers keep changing 🤔 and service isn't like it used to be.

My family had a once in a lifetime vacation fall in our laps. However our children needed passports and quickly. After getting everything we needed to have these in time for our trip, we apparently needed appointments to have them processed. We tried signing up as quickly as possible but online reservations were not working properly. I called the Bloomingdale facility as their site according to the website still had openings only to be told they were full for the next few weekends. I spoke with Komal (spelling ??) who tried to find a possible solution. She was so patient and caring. It was so nice to hear someone was trying to help. She helped us schedule for the next available time at another facility that could possibly get us the passports in time. The next day however, I received a call from Komal stating they would be able to fit us in. We are so thankful for her and Tina who helped relieved the extra stress this situation placed. Thank you Bloomingdale Post Office for going above and beyond!!

WOW - i just got an important document today, 45 days after posted by the Carol Stream office. Unbelievable. And why do we still use snail mail for important documents? I'd love to hear the reason for this.......Called Carol Stream who said its Bloomingdale you need to talk to. Called Bloomingdale, they say its CS that handles it......WOW....at least the lady at Bloomingdale took my info and will look into it. I am sure they will do nothing like always, but at least she was courteous and might try to help! And we still have to use this service.......

This is the worst service from any post office I have ever visited. I went yesterday and got there a little before closing time and they would not wait on me, told me to use the self-service machine. I went and processed my package and made payment for the machine to tell me it was out of paper and could not print the postage. I knocked on the door to let the same guy know and he said your charge was reversed so what is the problem. I asked if the machine had been out of paper and he said yes, then why did you tell me to use the machine. He closed the door and made no attempt to put more paper in the machine or ship my package. I left and went to a different post office. I will never do service at Bloomingdale post office again and this employee should not have a job with his attitude.

Today I received three other pieces of mail that do not belong to me. All addressed to other people and businesses with different addresses. My mailman or mailwomen person is terrible. I don't receive my packages. They get delivered to my neighbors. My neighbors bring them to me. What bad service. I've lived here for many years and had a wonderful mailman never ever had a problem. Now nothing but bad service!

Our letter carrier is great! I've lived in Bloomingdale for over 30 yrs. I have to say the ppl behind the counter are terrible. They are not friendly at all. At least the afro-american man and the Asia lady. I don't know of what of anyone else. I use the self service. If I have any questions, I actually go to the Carol stream location.

This post office is terrible. I called on a Friday asking if they offered passport services and was told yes and provided the hours. I get there the next day and they say they don't do passports on Saturday! Terrible customer service. This website even states they offer passport services on Saturday! I complained and they said they hadn't offered Saturday passport services in months! WHAT THE HELL??!!

This one guy that works there seems so sad to be there. He'll like a robot, no Personality.
