I have been at my residence for 15 years. Since that time delivery services by the Athol post office are less than stellar. Packages delayed, when instead of leaving the package in the container located at my gate, they leave a slip for me to pick up at the post office. They know the container is there, why don't they leave my packages? Now, I'm waiting on a gift that was for some reason sent to UPS and UPS tried to deliver to the post office and were not able to do so. There is definitely room for improvement for the USPS overall, but most especially in a very small town.

Tried and tried to call to ask about missing mail. Can’t leave a message as it asks for an access code. If the driver doesn’t feel the road can be driven on or quite frankly, doesn’t feel like it, they won’t deliver the package. We’ve been home on several occasions when we received a notice that the package was undeliverable or there’s no place to put it even though we have an enclosed porch with a sign saying “place all packages inside”. It’s frustrating

There are so many issues with this post office. Our packages are constantly being given to other people and they tell us it was already picked up, yet no one from our household picked up any packages. They have also given me other peoples packages and even check my ID but still hand me the wrong package. This is a huge problem and they don’t do anything about it. We can’t even order anything without worrying that they’ll just hand our package over to someone else because it happens so often.
