I was in a panic over a package I mailed from Ocracoke NC to home in Blairsville. The person I talked to today, Eric, was a great help to me in finding it. And Tracy our mail carrier.. thank you for all you do. I have nothing but good to say about my home postal service. Thank you for the info you gave me today, and your help. And all is good!

Mailing a package? Run from this post office, you have about a 25% that the package will never leave the Blairsville post office. Tracking numbers are essential, but pay for insurance because they just shrug and smile when they lose yet ANOTHER package.

The majority of the Blairsville Post Office employees are just rude. It is just as bad as going to the DMV. I have received some of the worst customer service I have ever received at this Post Office, it truly makes me miss the Post Office I used when I was stationed in Colorado. I dread going in there now, and the next time I have to ship something out or mail a package, I think I will just go to the Young Harris, GA Post Office, where they treat you with some decency. The Blue Ridge, GA Post Office is also much nicer, cleaner, and the employees are actually friendly. There are quite a few employees working here who have no business working in customer service, as they clearly lack the social skills and just common sense, needed to interact with the public. When I complained about an employee getting close to me, who got up in my face, and was also not wearing a mask, the supervisor I complained to, just smirked back at me, and replied to me, in a very condescending manner, that the employees are not required to wear masks. I understand that the employees are not required to wear masks, though they should still be keeping a respectful distance from the customers, and these Postal Service employees do not keep a respectful distance, and if you complain about this, they give you an attitude and try to dismiss your complaint. Just sorry customer service all around. Backward and ignorant attitudes. I would like to add something to this review, more recently, I have had packages and mail that have been delivered to me, which have been opened. I alerted the Post Office about this, though I don't trust that this won't happen again. I have never done business with another Post Office where packages and mail arrived opened. As soon as I have time, I will be opening up a mailbox somewhere else. Also, the direct number for the Post Office is 706-745-4123. I noticed this number is missing in numerous listings for this Post Office. I thought I'd add the number as it might save someone time looking for it.

Just a side note, please disregard the part about the number for the Post Office. I just realized that the number for the Blairsville, GA Post Office is actually listed at the top of this page.

I sent a rather large package to a guy in 21 Watts PL S Blairsville, GA 30512 This I thought took way too long due to your post office refused the above address which BTW is the correct address, stupid trogligites. Then one of your employees ripped the above address of my box sent my package back to me in Wyoming. I emailed this guy and he said this is the right address. I think your employees are lazy and do not do their work correctly and dont verify addresses, I can prove this. Youre lucky I can get a refund from my local post office, youre workers were very rough on my package, one corner was damaged, luckily I packed this very well and the contents were not damaged so I will not hold your post office accountable, youre lucky. Im royally ticked you wasted my time, tried to rip me off. I give yours and the Atlanta post offices a thumbs down, terrible service, you employ trogligites off the street. I will never ever use your post office in a thousand years now I have to go and repackage everything again, but I will just use Fedex, the heck with the Postal service, mainly in youre area, it STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

Today, Friday, June 28,2019, we were notified by USPS that we were to have a package delivered.....Two hours after normal delivery time, no mail....I called the Blairsville, GA post office and they said the new carrier was running late....After that we received a notification that said our package was undeliverable.....That’s not true!....I was here all afternoon with our driveway monitor on.....No one came and we live less than .2 mile from our box....We have never had a problem with our other postal carriers bringing our packages until today!

Yes same thing here! Was left a notice said there was not "safe" place to deliver. My mailbox is huge for years they have stuffed it with whatever they have. Also said undeliverable? They have left packages all over the place, my vehicles, porch, rain etc. Also home all day and not a soul ever rang. Now all of a sudden NOPE! So now the notice says I have to pay $8.30 and pick up from post office. Now how is that when the postage has already been paid for??

There has to be a different person delivery my mail or my packages lately. For the past 2-3 weeks, my packages are left outside my gate on my front porch and in the rain. I am sick and tired of them getting wet. I search for 3 days just now found a big box in my golf cart so wet I almost could not pick it up. Thank goodness everything inside was wrapped up. This is totally uncalled for. I have a nice roof over my front porch and always have had my packages delivered at my front door or at least under the porch so in case it did rain they would not be wet. Plus 6 weeks ago, I had rotator cuff surgery and it is very difficult for me to pick up boxes that are heavy with them being all wet. I am requesting/asking and pleading with you to have this person stop doing this. This is not fair to me or the items inside my packages.
