Worst USPS office for mail delivery. I have lived in many places throughout my life, both stateside and overseas. I have dealt with slow mail situations. The Zephyrhills office is by far the worst Post Office I've received my mail through. 1. They do not answer their office phone. IF they do pick up, the do not say "Hello" or anything. You can hear them talking in the background. They will hang up. 2. Tracking reports will be scanned as "your package was delivered In/at mailbox". The package will not arrive until 3-4 days later. 3. Consistently lose mail/packages. Since they don't answer their phone, you need to go down to their office. On a piece of mail that required a signature they attempted delivery at 10:00 a.m. Due to being at work during this time daily, re-delivery was rescheduled for Saturday. We stayed home all day. It was never delivered. When we inquire about delivery in the office "Oh sorry, we don't know where your package is currently. The person that may know where it is isn't in today." This is a common occurrence within the entire community serviced by this Post Office for over 10 years. This is not a lack of personnel due to a COVID situation. Who has oversight of this facility?

I don't want to get anybody in trouble. Please understand my point of view. I have a similar address to a home up the street, both homes have the same number but sit on different streets. I've lived here for twenty years, while the other home in question has had at least three different tenants throughout the years. We occasionally (by occasionally, I mean often) get the other residents mail at our address, average once to twice a week. Now it's been no big deal for me, cause my wife who is very nice tries to do the right thing and walks the mail up to the home. But unfortunately I am not as nice. Probably because I have been a government employee for over 39 years and recently retired. But my wife broke her hip not long ago, chasseing a delivery driver who made their delivery to our address. And on her return, she stumbled and broke her hip in our driveway. Nothing to do with the post office, so please bear with me for a moment. While my wife is in the hospital, I do the said work of retrieving the mail from the roadside mailbox. I am disabled, and have a hard time walking the short distance. This also has nothing to do with the post office. The other day that same address ordered a pizza, they delivered it to my address. They placed it at my front door right as you open it. Upon opening the door, I did not see it, and stepped on it slipped a little and almost fell on my ass. Again not the postal service problem. Deliveries like this happen often. Now my wife is still in the hospital and will come home this coming weekend. But it's going to be a very long time ahead to heal with rehab. Last weekend your postal employee who delivers my mail, once again delivered to me mail that should have gone said address in question. So because of the turn of events and the past wrong mail deliveries over the twenty plus years of living here, I decided to write on the envelope a note, which I probably should not have done. But you can imagine with the stress of my wife getting hurt, trying to do the right thing as she always does, it kind of got to me. I can not understand the constant wrong mailings. But what really keyed me off, was when I went to write my note on the envelope, I noticed that someone wrote FWD on the envelope already, which told me that this mailing was delivered to the correct address, but upon reading the note they left, took it upon themselves to just deliver it to this wrong address, instead of taking it back to the post office. Because of the incident with my wife and I recently experienced, and the stress of it all, compounded by that we are routinely given mailings from said address in question, on average once to twice a week, even multiple mailings at times. Tells me there is a gross neglect of duty and attention to detail. So upon the postal employee reading my note, she left a note of her own, I probably deserved it. But It reads as follows," I'm sorry, I was off for a week, and someone new ran my route, Again I'm sorry. I try to keep my head out, but when I'm off I can't control what they do. Barbara your regular carrier. Just so you know the reference to keep my head out is in reference to what I wrote on said letter or note which read, pull your head out. Again I am sorry for using that tone and do apologize for it but the frustration got to me with all that is going on in my life. But here is my concern? Was she on vacation all the other times as well? I can say with certainty, no way! There were many mismailings over the years, To many to count. It's not our job to ensure that the mail gets to the proper home. It's not our job to sort the mail for the U.S. Postal service. What do you want us to do. Now that my wife broke her hip and I can't walk, what do you want us to do? Just put it back in the mailbox? For how long do we do this before someone figures out their job? If you need the address I can provide it, but your form said to leave private information out. And as I also stated I do not want anyone to lose their job over this but maybe a general retraining of employees can put an end to this unwillingness to pay attention to detail. It truly is ridiculous on how often this occurs. It is quite laughable.

Sunday deliveries of packages from Amazon not delivered because USPS worker says drive and porch not accessible. Funny if it were not serious. Both are wide open to the street; he is identifying our home as the house behind/on the same side of the street as the mail box. All mail boxes are on the north side of our road. Our house is on the south side, directly across from the mail box, with the number on the flag poll. Today I NEEDED that package.

Been having issues with my mail delivery for over a year now, basically since I moved to FL. I've had packages go missing, failed deliveries, and mail and packages showing up months later, and I mean 3-4 months after the sending date. Every time I have contacted this location, they've been super unhelpful to the point I've just given up because those were little things. However, recently, a friend tried to send expensive and sentimental xmas gifts from over seas. Due to a system error, only the city and state were on the address but I was able to get hold of the USPS customer service line and they told me that it was currently being held at this location no problem, the same day that the package was scanned in the system (Customer service was super nice, but thats for all of USPS not this one location). Spent hours trying to reach this post office and have not been able to. Can't go to the physical location because I work a 9 to 5 and the workers here keep picking up the phone for just a second then hanging up. I've called from both cell and a landline and cannot get a hold of anyone. Extremely frustrating, as there is not even an email to request them to hold this package so that I can go pick it up.

I have been calling the zepherhills office. The phone rings and then because I am using a cell phone, stops and indicates that the phone call is being cancelled. Someone came to my door today to see if I still wanted to receive my mail. Apparently I am not emptying my mailbox to their satisfaction. I do not let my mailbox get filled to the brim. I check every few days and take the important mail and sometimes leave the junk mail- which I take out once a week. There were a few forms this week left in my mail box which looked like if I wanted to hold my mail to fill out. I was never notified formally that my mail in my box was getting out of hand. I have become very careful regarding my personal information and many times I do not answer the door unless I can identify the person knocking on it. Please let me know if my mail is being held. When I said I had gotten some mail, as they indicated they have 20 days worth of mail, I was disputing - they advised me it must of been a substitute who didn't know any better. I feel this situation was improperly handled by our carrier.

I am handicapped have a small ramp to my door , everytime the lazy carrier has a package, they leave it on my golf card next to the road. Last time I told her bring to my door. Today they left it on my golf cart again. My golf cart is not my house. I want this addressed immediately. If it happens again I am writing to the post Master general.

Why not just state the true reason: "To lazy get out of truck". Pretty sure all I will do everything in my power to not use the USPS system for anything

No surprise that I haven't been contacted and no one answers the phone. I literally cannot receive mail because of the United States Postal Service. What a joke.

WORST customer service ever!! They don't even try and fake it! Considering they are Government employees - try and act like you might care about the people you are paid to provide service to. Don't even try to call & speak to anyone - especially the Post Master!! The phone rings until a recording comes on and tells you to "try your call again later." One solid hour I hit redial - hang up - redial - hang up.......just kept ringing. Obviously, it is unplugged or the ringer is shut off! VERY PROFESSIONAL! Shining example of what the problem is with this Country! They should be ashamed of their poor attitude. Sad they are paid such a decent wage!

Postal worker driving mail truck #7206313 on Christmas eve at 5:30pm was driving so close that I can see she was on the phone and when I slowed down she just got closer and when I turned she zoomed past me and almost rear ended another car that was making a right turn. This person needs to stay off the road if this is how a civil worker acts when they think no one is looking.

It has now been 5 days, 3 of wjhich are mail delivery days and no sign of the registered letter has arrived. Zephyrhills,, you have a real problem, as I see many issues with deliveries from many in my area.....I know the papers I am waiting for are important, they are from my Dr office. Postal delivery claims to have attempted deliver of a registered letter to me on two separate occasions. I was home all day on both days, my door bell works, and I can hear someone knocking on the door from anywhere in the house. No-one attempted to deliver this registered letter to me, instead just putting a notice in my mailbox. I know times are tough with the COVID-19 crisis, but if delivery personnel are not going to deliver registered items, they need to announce that policy.

I live in Grand Horizons and we had the greatest ever Mail Person (Lady) But lately all we get is a bunch of rejects that speed thru the area and go to the same boxes 3-5 times an evening. It is ^:11 pm and they have opened our big community mail box 4 times and have know Idea what they are doing. Our boxes are numbered 1 - 28 and a trained monkey could figure it out. Our other girl was doing great but she had a back injury, I know you are short handed and this is a busy time of the year but this is not acceptable. I will be contacting further up the latter with a more appropriate letter that will have to be followed up. Thank you, for letting me vent.

Sent a priority package for my niece in Gainesville, GA with the correct address and it was returned to me on 25 August two days before my niece's birthday. My niece and husband just finished remodeling their home and they have been at the same address for five years. The note on the package said, vaccant (it wasn't even spelled right). I quickly drove to the post office before they closed on Friday. I spoke to the lady who works at the side not up front with the others. She called me to come to her counter. She said she would put the package in another envelope and I wouldn't have to pay again. I was gone a week and just got home yesterday evening. My neighbor had received the same package returned for a second time. It was never put in another envelope as the lady postal carrier told me she would do (the one who frequently works at the side counter.) I often feel she doesn't care and she didn't put it in another envelope and has reprimanded me in the past for coming to her counter too soon. I feel horrible that my priority package was not delivered and the address is correct.
