In the past month, have sent two PM express 1 day overnight envelopes to the same address. First one took 2 days to arrive. When I filed a claim because it did not arrive in time claim was denied because usps stated it got delivered. So much for the 1 day “money back guarantee” printed on my receipt. Second over night letter stated incomplete address. Same address as first one I sent . USPS they are returning to sender. What a mess this Summerfield,FL location.

Our Postman, Chris, area 17 I believe had knocked on my door and greeted me very kindly. He said that he had a package that required a signature but, he explained that the package was empty. He told me it was my decision to sign for it or not. I did not have a clue as to what I should do. If he had not said this to me I believe I would have signed for it and dealt with it myself, but the way he said it made me think twice and I replied that I do not want to sign for it and let it go back to where it came from. This might sound juvenile to most people but this letter was from my taxpreparer and the contents should have been my taxes with my ssn and bank routing information. If I had signed for it, my taxpreparer would not have been obligated to investigate the where abouts of my valuable information. Though Chris did not know what the missing contents was, he did know what my options were and simply stated that I had a choice here. That's the kind of real people I need to know are caring and looking out for others. Please let him know that I appreciate him. Gratefully, Janice Heimer

I have been trying daily for over a week to reach the Summerfield post office by phone. There is never an answer, I have my home address mail forwarded to the post office box there, and two of my important pieces of mail have been returned to sender. As I am out of town, I really need to speak with someone at that post office. I also sent a message to the USPS in general and have received no response there either. My forward is not due to expire until November. Big problem.

We put a temporary change of address in online one week before leaving Fl.. 2 weeks later our neighbor sent a large envelope to us with 15 or more pieces of mail that was in our mailbox. Our insurance on our house was cancelled because we never rec'd the bill, it was returned to sender with the message, they don't live here anymore. Two more deliveries from our neighbor, and I have called three days to have them forward the mail and also to put a notice in the box DO NOT PUT MAIL IN HERE-FORWARD IT. The phone answers and they tell you to wait for the next person and it just rings 11 times and hangs up (50 times) WHAT IS GOING ON??

My mail guy doesn't bother to come some..days. I KNOW from informed delivery that I have mail but he conveniently decides that he wants to skip some days. NOT HAPPY!

I have called and complained about the same mail delivery person about 15 times . She does not leave my mail. Marks it undeliverable. I have a mailbox I am home the delivery person is horrible

I sent a flat priority box LG on April 21 to family from Mich said 3 day but will be there Saturday April 25 by 8pm and they never got it . I checked with family few minutes ago and nothing.and I tryed calls post office and they said hold time is 1 hr.who the hell has 1 hr to wait on hold..it's already 2 days past the time they were to get there package

They do not respond to inquiries. The postoffice only takes your cash to re-send certified mail, the destination of that certified mail receives your letter and places it in the trash. No responses from anyone in the postal service.

I received a package in the mail box that was so tight, I couldn't get it out. I hope the carrier will take it out tomorrow and bring it to the door.

TERRIBLE SERVICE ! ! ! !.) Confirmation #: CAH307526828 Mail HOLD 04/23/2018 - 04/28/2018. Mail NOT HELD! Delivered on 04/23/2018 AND THROUGH OUT the week (?). WE arrived home one day early to a mail box full of mail. 2.) Tried calling the Summerfield USPS (245-2784) Twice before 4 pm. NO ONE ANSWERED after four minutes of ringing. 3.) Last week I was expecting a prescription drug delivery on Monday, April 16, NO MAIL was delivered that day - supposedly because a car was parked within feet of the mailbox. The next day the package was delivered with a note stating "mailbox blocked 04/16." USUALLY the USPS driver delivers these packages to our door. James and Diane Lesczynski (352) 347-1304

I am currently out of town so had a package sent to my neighbor. It was estimated to be delivered on 1/10. It arrived earlier and was out for delivery on 1/08. For some reason it was not delivered. My neighbor was home all day. On the tracking it states to call the PO to schedule for delivery, but, the number rings constantly busy. The package is addressed to Betty Wilson. How do I get this package delivered if I can not contact them. It seems this problem is an on going problem. Is the phone not working???

I spoke with the Manager Michelle, questioning when the carrier will be out to deliver our key for our mailbox in our mobile home park that we have previously purchased 2 weeks ago and she had said that she can't promise anything and then she hung up on me my wife already sent in a previous review about the situation we are not happy patrons!

My husband and I have been waiting for a key for our mailbox here in Summerfield at our Mobile home park and it's been disturbing that we can't get a carrier out here to give us a key we've already paid for $25 my husband called and spoke with Michelle the manager there and she was very rude to him this service is not efficient it's very annoying are they NOT customer service friendly!

Above phone number is not good. Called at 9am and immediately went to busy and busy for rest of day. My mail is being forwarded for summer months and it is taking 5 weeks to get here. Still waiting for important mail that had been mailed close to a month ago and still not here. This situation does not give me confidence in the US postal service. I don't want my credit jeopardized because of your neglect.

This post office literally sucks!!!!!! I have been trying to reach them all day and have been getting a BUSY signal. Really?? You are really talking to customers?? I think not. I think you just take the phone off the hook. This after receiving a "sorry we missed you" notice today. YOU IDIOTS, I WAS STANDING BY THE FRONT DOOR AS THE POSTAL TRUCK DROVE BY......so how did you "miss" me?

So I was supposed to get a package delivered today, that apparently needed my signature. The delivery driver didn't bother to come up to the door and knock to see if anyone was home. My roommate STAYED home so she could sign for it. Nope. No knock. I get home and they have left a form stating that "sorry they missed me". I even looked back at the video tape, and all she did was put a form in my box. This is very lazy. I needed this package today, and it's just pathetic that they can't even get out for 2 seconds to knock and see if anyone is home. This isn't the first time this has happened. This is however the first time I've caught it on camera. Believe me. I'll be raising hell tomorrow when they open. Considering I work all the time and can't get out there by the time they close.

Please do not return absentee ballots as undeliverable. My wife's ballot was returned to the city clerk as undeliverable. A village's resident had the same thing happen to them. Please deliver the absentee ballots to the person it is addressed. Please do not return these ballots as undeliverable

The envelope I sent out was delivered torn and part of what was inside was missing! I have tried to contact USPS to file a complaint, but have had no success in doing so. I do not have a tracking number because it was sent via regular mail. This has never happened to me with any mail I have delivered until now. If there is any way I can get in contact with anyone other than an automated service line, please let me know.

I have never encountered such a rude and vindictive postmaster. Brenda is very juvenile in her attitude as she shows her power in the way if and when your mail will be delivered. Even the carriers can't believe how she can get by with behavior but will not say anything due to her vindictiveness. The main office needs to investigate her actions.
