We have been having horrible problems in our neighborhood with mail and packages not delivered and not returned to the post office. They can not find our mail and packages. I have two packages and numerous pieces of mail missing. One package was certified. The carrier was fired. Did she steal our mail and packages? It was out for delivery and never scanned as delivered. So what happened to it? I've called and get acknowledgement that there's been a problem, and the carrier was fired, but no answer or help in where my missing mail is.
I have never left a review before, but after my wonderful experience, I had to post this. It was approximately 9pm on Christmas Eve, when my doorbell rang. I was having a party, so I thought it was just some of my guests arriving late. To my pleasant surprise, it was Travis, the supervisor at the Oviedo post office delivering a small package that could have very easily been overlooked. It was my father -in- law's, trifocal glasses!! With a big smile he stated," Merry Christmas. The package looked like it was something needed sooner rather than later, and I wanted to make sure you got it before the Holiday." He looked so tired- bless that man. I assured him they were very much needed by my father- in- law who was anxiously waiting for them to arrive earlier that day, and thanked him for his kind act of service. It is a wonderful reminder that there is still someone who takes his job to heart and goes above and beyond for the community he serves. They have to deal with angry customers who think they are too slow, roll their eyes while waiting on line at the post office or worse. We take for granted that they have to work in the sweltering heat or deal with massive downpours of rain driving an open car or often times walking, with greetings from pets that are not so happy to see them, just to get our mail to and from where it needs to go. He most definitely made our Christmas merrier not just because he fulfilled a need, but for his kind act that restores my faith in humanity, and makes me realize how much we take them for granted. That is not something I have ever experienced from FEDEX or UPS and I am thankful for our dedicated postal service workers.
Whenever I travel I always put a hold on my Mail, and it never fails they simply do not comply with my request I have to constantly call and rectified this. So it stops for a few days and then they start to delivery again .This has and continue to reoccurred without fail, They are always very apologetic, just for once I liked if they did their job correctly Note They contstantly are changing carriers maybe if they had one carrier assigned to the route maybe he would learn the route and do it right
Was on this site just to check on hours and noticed this comment section. Just want to say the crew at the Oviedo PO is really amazing. Unfailingly courteous, helpful and professional. I have never had a less-than-wonderful experience there and they make every transaction a pleasant experience. Keep up the great work!!
Went today to the Oviedo, Florida post office. What a fantastic experience. The postal agent on the floor asked me what I wanted to do and walked me through it step by step. I had come with a priority mail flat rate box half taped and needed it to go today to make it to Its destination on Saturday. Voila! He took me to the kiosk typed in the pertinent information for me. Asked if I needed stamps or anything else. He was great, the busiest time of the year. USPS has exceptional service, great easy to use products, and best of all superlative employees. I am pending receipt of a piece of mail sent from the UK 3 weeks ago to our address here in Oviedo and it has not arrived. Can you help me track it?
