I am a long time Hawthorne resident. I have informed delivery and always get my mail each day. My mail carrier is also wonderful! Patsy is friendly and a delightful young woman along with others in the office. I do realize dealing with mail is not an easy job for all of those working in that field and it can be frustrating. I once made a mistake on my own address for a package to be sent to me, and Patsy went above and beyond what she needed to do to help me figure out a solution. We are fortunate to have a local post office, and I hope those who have issues don't try to ruin it for the rest of us, or try to get certain people fired.

This place is a joke!! They literally stole a package and no one would even help. Ms Patsy or whatever her name is was so rude and nasty. It’s a shame that they treat people that way.

We have been trying to reach this location and obtain a mail lock box at our home for the past two weeks with no success. We have even driven 45 minutes out of our way to handle this matter in person and are given the run around with regards to the mail lock box at our road location. It is ridiculous that we can not even rightful obtain a mail lock box so that we can receive mail.

The phone is not answered. It is not easy to ask important questions when needed. Mail is sometimes put in my box that is not mine. Street name in not even close to mine.

Hawthorne is the worst post office I have ever dealt with in my 60 odd years. I have informed delivery. I should have had mail yesterday. Nothing. Today, I have mail and packages. Nothing, not even yesterday's mail. I've had my purchases placed in the wrong mail bin, never a word on restitution. I am waiting on a delivery, a replacement, both are now missing. I am beyond livid and fed up. If they ever look at offices to close, I will lobby that this one is first to go. They are useless, inept and ignorant.

Again I need to know what you are planning on doing to retrieve my mail because, your employee delivered a time sensitive letter and, a package even after I put in a change of address which I know that you have received as I am getting mail with the yellow label with my new address on them. I had a friend willing to get my mail at old address but, roommate would not let him come over to retrieve it.... Yet, sent photos of my mail!!! The people inside the actual Post Office are always kind and helpful. The problem is my mail carrier. I don't appreciate getting my mail usually between 5 and 6 pm. When I've ordered something and view the tracking information I've noticed lies. Most recent the mail carrier noted I wasn't home so the package couldn't be delivered, the time noted was 3:55. Not only was I home, the carrier didn't deliver my regular mail until 4:45. My packages are also either in my box or at my door, I don't need to be home. It was drizzling, apparently the carrier didn't want to get wet. I could understand if it was pouring down rain and lightening, but drizzle...it's Florida come on. Another incident the carrier lied about was time delivered. I feared the rare birthday gift I hunted down for my niece was delivered to the wrong house. The carrier noted a delivery time of 4:55 on the tracking info and the carrier did not arrive until almost 7pm that day. Something needs to be done. This is unacceptable.

I have to say that I am very pleased with our post office out here in Hawthorne, FL. They tried to deliver a package this past Saturday and I wasn't here, so they left a note. I called to reschedule and somehow it got missed getting on the truck for today. So I called and asked about it, and the gentleman on the phone was so apologetic, that he drove the package out and delivered it himself! Thank you!!

I ordered from amazon. my item got to your office and was issued a shipping label on Feb. 25 . It didn't leave there until Mar. 1. What gives? I hope the company I bought from will use ups or fedex the next time!
