I had a bad experience at the new Milford post office today. An employee by the name Nathalie was very discourteous with me. I was retuning some items to Gap. I had the bar code printed as the returns will be paid by the merchandise including the packaging. She scanned the bar code and printed out the paid postage. She then asked me to go get a box from their packaging section and I did. After I packed the box with my returns and when I asked for tape to secure the box she stated they don’t have any tapes there and I would have to buy a roll of tape. I refused to buy the tape there and asked her to hand over the postage stamp so that I could take the box home and secure the box and mail it out the next day.She stated she can’t give it to me as she has scanned the item in already flaring her hands up in the air. Then she pointed out that the box comes with tapes which she could have told me in the first place. I sealed the box with the tape but unfortunately those tapes were flimsy and had started to open up. I asked her if the items were secure in the box and she stated “ I don’t know, they are yours” like she was sending it out for free for me. I talked to her supervisor who was not much of a help either. Then she said I owe her money for the box and the box I knew for sure was also paid by the merchandise. I just took out my items, left the box for her to play hide and seek in her spare time. I will never use usps if I can ever again
Got through straight away on the location specific phone number. Kevin is very helpful, firstly when I needed info about delivery and the requirements for locating my mail box and now in relation to me getting a neighbors mail in my box.
A letter mailed in New Jersey was supposed to be delivered to 117 Green Pond Rd, New Milford, CT. 06776. It was returned to sender with, " Return to sender, no such street, unable to forward." The address is very close to the Sherman border, but it is a valid address in New Milford. Can you please tell me what the problem could have been with the carrier assigned to the route ? It took over 2 weeks to be returned to the sender in New Jersey. This was a letter, but it could have been something more important like medication, a check, or important document with a time limitation. Please investigate. Thank You, Barbara Richardson
Claude in the New Milford Post Office is a rude employee. He is not helpful at all, telling me he doesn't know where my package is even though the tracking says it was received by them. He would not look it up in their system, telling me it will take him forever. I just wanted to know if my package would be delivered today or not as I would just pick it up there but he literally told me, "I don't know where it is" as if he couldn't be bothered to do his job. I have no idea why they would let such a rude person answer the phone.
We try not to use this post office if at all possible. The people who work there are NOT professional or polite. We will drive all the way to the next town unless it's an emergency.
