The service at Monroe Post Office is despicable.....as in disgusting and completely inefficient. I have called for 10 days now and the phone rings and rings and then goes into a busy signal. I gave up and drove to the post office. One customer was in the building.....so obviously you were not busy. What goes on? I'm sure other complaints have been registered. I simply needed the name of my mail server in order to present him with a Christmas Gift....and then the clerk just guessed at the name I requested???? UNACCEPTABLE.

I have repeatedly called this post office to speak to someone regarding a package that was supposedly put in the parcel locker but it was not there. The phone rang for approximately 2 minutes each time and then went to a busy signal. And you think this is not frustrating? I will now have to go to the post office in person.

We regularly have our packages left on the SIDE of our house, where there is NO DOOR. We simply cannot understand the logic on this. The carrier leaves deliveries below two windows, and next to a bush, which makes it difficult to even see if we arrive home after a delivery, and end up driving right past it....following our driveway to the FRONT DOOR. Luckily, we have wonderful neighbors, who call us to let us know when our carrier is being lazy again. I have called to complain....submitted online complaints....but it continues to happen. Bringing packages to our actual DOOR is not a problem for UPS, FedEx, etc.....only USPS. Amazingly pathetic that we have to continue to complain about something so ridiculous.

Sounds like you must have the same mail carrier or at least I hope it's the same and that this problem doesn't effect the entire Monroe branch. My mail carrier tosses my deliveries wherever he feels like it. I feel like offering him a baseball bat that way he might actually reach the front door of the house. Very rude also.

I just moved to Connecticut and its been a nightmare experience with usps so far. Ive ordered two things since being here and both have had a problem with one still missing. The red alert on the tracking has been my friend both havent been scanned when they were supposed to be delivered and both show lost in their system. One showed up in the package box for my apartment the other hasnt been found. I dont know who is doing the delivery for my apartment building but this is totally not acceptable that i cant receive a package without a major issue. I live in Trumbull and this matter needs to be looked into weve called and so far havent even received a call back. Needless to say im really upset and have never come across such incompetence before in dealing with usps

I have a tracking number from UPS which shows that my package was transferred to the Monroe CT post office and I was notified that the package was delivered yesterday, it was not. How do I contact the Monroe Office to see where the package is?

I left the Po office after waiting for staff to organize her pens and papers before calling me. And then offered no support or information other than the manager was out until tomorrow. The lack of initiation was so disrespectful. Its disheartening.
