I am not happy with this post office. I mailed a package that I requested to be signed for to ensure the contents were received by a person and not left outside. The package was left on the steps of the residence in full view and within reach of anyone passing by. The recipient was home at the time the package was delivered, however the postal carrier did not knock. My delivery confirmation states that it was signed for, and this did not happen. The only reason the recipient knew the package had arrived was because I received a text tracking the package stating it had been delivered. She was puzzled to find it on the steps of the porch. Again, my delivery confirmation shows it was signed for. This is poor customer service, especially since there was an extra fee to have a signature confirmation. I'm lucky the package was not stolen. This was the reason I wanted the signature in the first place. Not good.
