The self-service kiosk where you can purchase stamps and postage for packages is convenient. However, the drop box to place your package in after purchasing postage is always locked. It doesn't matter if it is during the holidays or any other time, the drop box is locked. Then, I need to come home to schedule a pickup after going to the post office to mail a package. Please unlock the drop box.

I had a package that was sent signature required, I received the notice then I used the USPS app to schedule a redelivery and now I am unable to get in touch with anyone at the post office via phone or chat, so now I have to take off work to go to the CRock post office when they should be delivering packages/mail and see where my package if before filing a claim. This is frustrating why operate as a mail carrier when the actions show different.

Had a package delivered to the parcel box at the community mail box. The lock to the parcel box had seized up so I notified USPS last week and nothing has happened. I had a package in there that I guess they just kept for themselves because nothing has showed up and I have been told nothing....How is this not a firable offence?

Trying to get mail held for 2 weeks is difficult. Dealing with the “form” is hit or miss. Online hold, for me, always seems to end with a call to “contact us”. Tried the “app” for the first time and it worked. The larger problem is, when mail is held you must specify the day you are going to pick up. On that day you go to the new building, ask for your mail and it isn’t there. It is at the old building, which you cannot pick up from there (any longer). The clerk takes your name and address then tells you to return in 2 business days to get your mail. Sure, ok. I asked if I could call in to get my name/address on the list 2days prior to my return from vacation. (Thinking I would have a better chance of picking up my mail on the day I told to post office I would) The clerk gave me the most unexpected answer. “You can call, but nobody answers the phone”. I laughed.

Why worry about porch pirates When you have post men or women laying packages on the ground and on top of our mailboxes. IT is totally ridiculous to do that, I bet they wouldn't put there own mail by the road and on the top of there mailboxes to easily get stolen. This should be an firable offense.

Service has never been exemplary in my 20 years in Castle Rock. However, the new carrier in Silver Heights has set a new low benchmark. No matter what, she is simply unable to do the job. Mail is never delivered daily, it is delivered in clusters as she deems fit. Got a package? She won't deliver it.... It will make the world tour and you will have to come to the post office because no one cares to do their job properly. No quantity of patience or complaining seems to make any difference. The folks behind the counter are saints.

Have been getting neighbors mail on a pretty regular basis and very little of my own. Just wonder how much mail of mine is going into other peoples mail boxes. Luckily the peoples mail I'm getting is easily delivered to them personally. I certainly wouldn't trust the Castle Rock post office to actually deliver it to them if I try to return it to the post office. We have been advised that mail will be slower but not that it's going to the wrong address. Trying to call the Castle Rock post office is a exercise in futility. It rings and rings and then goes to a busy signal.

It is ridiculous to have to figure out where our mail is on a weekly basis. We have been missing important mail - Certified letters, packages, you name it. And I can’t get anyone on the phone to help me locate any of it. What am I supposed to do? Go to the Post Office and stand in line every day, asking for my mail?

Quite frequently one of my neighbors receives our mail. I do not understand why the mail person can not decipher between names and addresses. She lives across the street and the addresses and names are nowhere close to eachother. We do have the morning email available telling us what is in the mail for the day and when the neighbor gets our mail, we are missing items that were to be delivered. We have also had missing mail that has not even made it to the delivery notification email, let alone the mail box. I think the mail carrier also has his wife helping him. This is not good!!!

It has been 30 days since I submitted a change of address in person at the Castle Rock Post office. 2 weeks ago I verified it was submitted at the post office in Springtown Texas. They said it would take 10 business days to go into affect. So here it is 22 business days later and no forwarded mail. Nothing has been returned to my client that mailed me something on May 27th. I am sure all my mail has ended up in the trash. I bet it was just COVID related delay. What a joke.

I request pick up of small parcels and get Confirmation Numbers from the USPS but the packages never get picked up - I live in the Meadows. This is ridiculous!!!! They should not offer a service they have no intention of following through on. What's the point of scheduling a pickup if things never get picked up??? So nothing has changed at the Castle Rock Post Office. I have a package they put in the parcel locker and then did not put the key in my mailbox. Since the package says it was delivered I will be billed a couple of hundred dollars for items that I have not received. Thank yo so much Castle Rock USPS for doing such a great job of screwing up everything and having nothing change about your service in what looks like several years. Big way to go!

Mail service in the Silver Heights subdivision is horrible. Tracking packages that should have been delivered to be told not able to deliver, even though we were home, no tag left because the carrier is lying. Went to post office to discuss with Post Master, absolutely no help. Our mail is left in the wrong boxes and we receive other people's mail in our box. We all know the new contract worker is new, but there's no excuse for not delivering our mail and packages. I have talked with other residents in this neighborhood, one family all mail was forwarded downtown Denver without a mail forward in place. Our residential service is pathetic. I'm filing a compliant with the Post Office General in Washington DC. and would encourage all with issues to do the same.

I recently moved into the Bella Mesa community that is serviced by this post office. We have community mailboxes to pick up our mail and ours is not labeled, I believe that we are not unique in this. We frequently get neighbors mail and I have had packages and expected mail say that it was delivered but I never received it. I don't know why they don't have our mailboxes labeled as I believe this would help with the issues. I've tried to call the post office several times about this and I can't ever get through to anyone.

Normally, the supervisors are so willing to help and send someone right away, but for some reason the 3 supervisors I spoke to were awful and not empathetic at all. I took a sealed envelope with a stamp to the Castle Rock Post office. I noticed the corners were not totally sealed. Since it had a pay check in it I asked Nikki the employee behind the desk if she could put a small piece of tape on it (not like an entire package, a tiny piece on an envelope) and she said "no, we don't do that." She was so stoned faced and it took me by such surprise that she had not one once of customer service skills in her. I thought maybe she didn't understand so I repeated myself, "I just need a tiny piece on the corner to ensure it doens't tear open." Her response again was "No, we don't do that". WOW! Government worker at it's finest, were customer service is NOT in the vocabulary! I too get wrong my in the mailbox repeatedly.

Not only that but my mail person is constantly placing the wrong mail into my box. If you can't find people who can do the job, I don't think they should be handling mail of people in this town. Plus now I need to figure out where my package is.

Service at the counter has been improving of late. It's amazing to experience how much faster I can be served in line when there are 3 or 4 representatives instead of 1 or 2. The lines in the past were routinely as long as the counter and often out into the lobby. In addition, it seems the employees attitudes are much better. They seem to want to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner rather than just going through the motions. I'm leaving this comment because I want management and the employees to know their efforts are not going unnoticed and ARE APPRECIATED!

I have tried to call the local post office in Castle Rock Colorado to complain but the line is ALWAYS busy and I cannot get through. Additionally the lock box where packages are left are not functional, the locks are impossible to open. I had a package left there today and was unable to open the box. First of all, yes they should definitely get paid more. Second, you obviously don’t have a clue what your mail carriers job entails. It is anything but easy. Try remembering 600 or more addresses. And that’s just 1 route. They fill in for other routes when necessary. They don’t just show up in the morning with all the mail in a nice neat pile. It’s all sorted and cases by your carrier. Each piece of mail is sorted and put in its slot. After several hours of sorting they have to pull it all down and haul it to there vehicle. Mail is heavy. Especially when it’s magazine day or telephone books etc. Also, don’t forget the butt load of packages that they have to deliver. And keeping up with who moves out, who moves in, who wants their mail forwarded, who wants theirs on hold. Also, try remembering who wants their packages left at the post office and who wants theirs delivered every time. Get in and out of their vehicle hundreds of times a day. They deal with your dogs, wasps, spiders and mosquitos all day. They also pick up your outgoing mail and packages. There’s much much more on the to do list but that’s just an example for you. Finally, guess what? It’s all done free of charge to you. You don’t pay them to do the work they do. You don’t get charged for their service. Anyways, I hope that helps u understand a little better.

I called the post office and spoke to Glen, who said he would try and contact the carrier and get it to me. It wasn't 5 minutes when he called back and said he contacted the carrier and he would retrieve the package and bring it to my door. Within an hours time, the carrier was ringing my door, package in hand. Thank you so much to my Awesome carrier(sorry I didn't get his name) and Glen! That is Customer Service!!!

We order medicine for our dog online. It doesn't fit in our regular mailbox so the mail girl puts it in the large package box and leaves the key in our mailbox. The only problem is the key does not work. I left her a note in our mailbox and she did nothing about it...just left the key that doesn't work in the box and put new mail on top of it. Our dogs medicine has been sitting in the box for two days now and I have no way of getting to it. And this is the third time we have been given a key that doesn't work. I was just sitting in my front room when I saw our mail carrier drive up. She got out carrying a long box so I got up to meet her at the door. Before I could open the door and threw the box on my porch resulting in it hitting my door. I opened the door and she was already in her truck. When I stepped outside she was pulling away. This is not the first time I have had problems with our mail carriers. I have been to the post office in person countless amount of times to complain about opened cards and packages, wrong mail in our box and our mail going to our neighbors. I am beyond frustrated at this point. I am severely frustrated and down right angry. There is no reason for this and certainly no reason for a box learly marked FRAGILE HANDLE WITH CARE on it to be thrown on my porch from my drive way when all she had to do was take a few more steps and go up two stairs. With that being said, something needs to be done. Action is required and this mail carrier should suffer the consequences. I really don't care if she loses her job. She clearly doesn't want to do it well anyway. Annoyed in Castle Rock, Vince and Lori

The first time I gave them the tracking number, they said they would get in contact with the carrier and call me later that day....this never happend. I called the very next day and still no one got back to me. So the following Monday I went in, and they asked for the tracking number again and said someone would call me, again this never happened. Today I call and AGAIN they say they will talk to the carrier when they get in and call me. I am betting I will not get a phone call. My biggest & most annoyed complaint is that this PO is CONSTANTLY marking packages as delivered and it's not true, there's no package, there's not even any freaking mail! They don't even come, yet they say all my tracked packages are delivered. It's so annoying, I can't even explain. I receive a lot of packages, but they are NEVER delivered when they are supposed to be. I've had NUMEROUS packages and mail delivered to me that are for other addresses, I end up having to deliver them personally to the correct recipient. I should get a job there, at least I know I'd do my job correctly & not lie about when a package is delivered. It's incredibly frustrating that this PO is so horrible to deal with. It's sad, really.
