Not Managed well. I was in there to mail 2 letters and after standing in line for 35 minutes I was still not served. They were overloaded with customers and only 1 old man servicing the people. Some woman had12 boxes to mail and did no info on the boxes. The line continued to grow and still no help. The gentleman beside me was also disturbed and I said something. My response was told they were going to call the police, some Mexican behind the counter yelling at me some type of threat, The Manager just about pushed me out the door. I took some pictures which really pissed her off. I had a witness standing next to me and she wouldn't even listen to him. The whole situation could have been resolved if she would have got off her ass and helped the old guy taking the pressure off of him. That used to be my main post office but there are far better ways to do business than Berthoud. Loveland is a lot better. If any has a better solution than this article I would appreciate any information. The management there needs to be changed. I am going to send this to every government person I can find probably with no result. Talking to Loveland Post Office they have had a lot of complaints about Berthoud.

Constantly misdelivered mail for literally years--wrong number, wrong street, even wrong town. Postmaster instructs carriers to mark packages delivered before they even begin their routes. Falsifying tracking info is super problematic when packages are actually lost. Now the carrier has started leaving everyone's the mailboxes wide open each day, exposing mail and boxes to weather, critters, & thieves. They're not answering their phone.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how difficult it is just to get our mail delivered in a timely manner. I know things happen, but things have been happening for the three years I've lived in Berthoud now, and I'm getting pretty dang sick of it. I have a package that I have been waiting for. All of the tracking showed that from about 6 this morning it was out for delivery. All day long that's what I've seen. Says it left the Berthoud post office and was out for delivery. Now, just now at 3:43 p.m. the status is updated to package is ready for pickup at the post office. What the heck? I have not left my house today. This package does not need a signature. Oh, and I also did not get my mail today. What the heck? This is unacceptable. Of course I didn't get notification until 3:43 that my package was at the post office for pick up instead of being delivered, and of course it's Saturday and they're closed. Nice.

Seemingly unable to deliver mail correctly. I continue to get other people’s mail and parcels. I also get notifications telling me things have. Been delivered, and nothing there. I’m sure it’s in someone else’s mail box. If you live in or near Berthoud, I strongly suggest you AVOID these morons. Find another paid service for your mail and packages or get them delivered to your work, which is hopefully in an area with people that can read and that care. AWFUL, I have never experienced this anywhere else. If someone with any level of responsibility reads this for the love of god do something. Embarrassing.

They leave packages and mail unsecured in the parking lot. They do not answer their phone.

Please do NOT stuff large packages into my mailbox. I am in the process of replacing my smaller mailbox with a larger model so please be patient. There was a very large package which could have been easily dropped off on my porch....I could hardly remove it from my mailbox. Also, please STOP dropping packages off in the dirt NEXT to my mailbox. Anyone walking on my sidewalk could easily pick this package up and take it home with them. If you are driving a dark green Jeep Cherokee please QUIT speeding in my neighborhood on 5th Street. I have complained about this before. I have young children who play out near the street and when a ball is kicked out in the street and you are driving that fast they have very LITTLE reaction time to get out of your way. Thank you!

This post office was so helpful in trying to recover packages delivered to the wrong address. Unfortunately, even during the holiday, people feel they can open and keep packages that are not addressed to them. Thanks so much for trying to help me Berthoud Post Office! Sorry to my great nieces in CO that the presents from IL did not make it your way this Christmas.

Worst post office ever. I'm on day 16 of 2 to 3 day priority shipping. My package has been sitting on a trailer in their lot for 4 days now and they are still in no hurry to unload the trailer.

I tried calling the post office three times and after hanging on for a few minutes I was disconnected each time. If there is no one there to answer the phones, they should have a recording to say when to call back.....I understand they are busy, but at least let us know....

Berthoud post office is unable to correctly deliver mail. I have to go on a search at least twice a month to find packages that were not delivered to my address. The employees are also very rude and terrible to deal with. I just want my mail delivered to my address!

I couldn’t agree more with this review! beyond frustrated, and the office is useless to help investigate their errors, with rude staff.

I called the post office in Berthoud to find out what was going on with the key that was supposed to open the box that had my package in it. An employee, DENISE answered the phone and was incredibly rude. She told me she did not have time to answer my question and then promply hung up on me. How unprofessional is that ? How is it that somebody can be so incredibly rude when they are the one who applied for a job in customer service.? She should be ashamed of herself for treating people like that! Pathetic!!!

David, Yikes! I will say that after I posted my comment a few months ago I received a call from the Post Master (Anna?). She and I chatted for a few minutes and she as very informative and nice. She gave me a perspective from her side of things as to how incredibly busy they are. Honestly, I was a bit ashamed that I never thought to consider the Post Offices' side. They have been getting hammered with over 2500 new addresses (something like that) and not enough help. Regardless, I agree with you about Denise. And I feel bad for the other employees who have to work with her if she treats them anything like she does the public. People like her should not work in customer service. But, the Post Master and Diana are great!!

Regarding the Berthoud, CO post office- The pickup hours should be extended. Since we're required to have a PO Box, because the mail is not delivered to our house, the hours should be more accommodating for those with jobs. It is impossible to pick up any mail that is large in size, or requires a signature, during the work days. It is impossible to get to the post office before 4:30 pm! The staff are not accommodating to say the least. And are on most occasions quite rude. And since we're required to have a PO Box, I don't feel we should have to pay a yearly fee to have it! The "free" boxes are too small. Basically can't pick up the mail Monday thru Friday...
