Did you know that your postal carriers have been instructed to take shortcuts when delivering the mail. They time them on their routes, which isn't my problem.
So they're told to walk on your lawn, even if there is a fence in place (which I have to keep dogs off my grass). But if there's a fence, no one should step over it. It's trespassing on private property. The postal carriers need to walk on the designated path. I told the supervisor there is a walkway that they should use. He had a bad excuse stating that it wouldn't kill my lawn. I said if I'm fertilizing my grass, they will track it to my walkway and it will take away from the area I'm trying to fix.
So if anyone wonders why their grass might have a path thru it to their front door, it's created by the lazy postal carriers who can't walk the extra 20 steps. They'll have to find other ways to save time.
I can't believe that the guidelines/rule book they provide to the carriers actually says to walk across people's lawns, and that it's done countrywide. If it is, it needs changed immediately.
If anyone has run into similar issues, call your local post office to complain.
Tujunga post office posted time of PO BOX delivery is 11:30. There is a sign in the lobby that says 11:30 Not 10:30.
First, I am saying so this page will be fixed.
Second, I am unhappy that I can only get my Saturday mail between 11:30 and 2:00
