Postal Locations

Since Hurricane Irma these poor girls have been working from a sorting tent in all kinds of weather. There is no shelter during the heat & rain. They work extremely hard And try to do their best. They are very short staffed & each do the job of two. Thank you Summerland girls for coming to work every day!

The window hours at Summerland post office are Very limited and inconvenient for someone like myself that works full time. I relied on that very short window on Saturday between 830-10 , which still wasn’t always easy, to pickup packages. For the past 3 weeks there hasn’t been anyone there on Saturday. I have 4 packages that I cannot get unless I take time off of work to do. I don’t work near by, I would lose some time and money. They do have lockers in the Summerland post office. Sometimes they put a key in your P.O. Box and your packages in the locker, but that is a real hit and miss. They have been holding my packages for weeks and haven’t put a key in my box and my packages in a locker so that I can retrieve them. Last Saturday when I went to pick up there was another woman there just as frustrated as I am. What are we supposed to do? How are we to get our packages?
