I have always had a good relationship with the employees here. Today, however I was asked to wait for my accumulated mail, I had a P.O. Box which I closed today . The employee told me to wait and said ‘. It will be a while, they have not sorted the letters yet’. So I said ‘ I will wait’. After about ten minutes , she told me the same thing ‘ it will be awhile’ . Meantime there were at least seven more clients that got what they came for and here I was still waiting. When she reappeared she took the change of address form.. without permission from me. I remarked maybe I should come back for my mail. When I got out the door.. I had to go back as it dawned on me.... this was not right. I was never treated that way before no matter how busy they were. In short I asked to speak with the supervisor and told him my dilemma. The girl made me wait and did not come up with my mail despite the wait . It did not make sense at all. The supervisor came back in a jiffy with my accumulated mail. I understand it gets busy but today I would call it medium busy. I don’t want to get anyone in trouble, but I don’t want to be treated like a second class citizen either. Whatever her problem is, she needs reorientation on how people should be treated. It is a a government place , the more she should be up to code in the requirements of her job. I would like to commend the supervisor at this Suisun City Post Office Br. He handled the problem with outmost professionalism.
More power to you: hope she strives better and keep fairness and social consideration in her work ethic at all times . I like to think that this won’t happen again! Respectfully, Alicia G.
I’ve had to reschedule my passport appointment three times because of my own schedule. But I arrived to today’s appointment five minutes late. I’ve waited in line 10 minutes. Another woman had an appointment and she was taken to the back . I tried to ask the employee about my appointment as well, she told me I needed to check in, so I went back to the line .
When it was my turn, I spoke to the employee, she gave me attitude right off the bat. Told me I needed to reschedule because I was late. I told her that I have been waiting in line for 10 minutes. She said the other lady has an appointment after you and I said well that’s fine why can’t I go after her? She said no you have to reschedule .
Complaint is that she was rude and serious attitude. . She gave it to me before I even told her who I was and my appointment time .
No wonder people don’t want to come in there. !!
I guess I will use another location for my purchases and of course my passport renewal .
Tonight at 716 Madonna Dr I had to use tools to get my package out of my mail box. It was packed in so tight that I had to use a couple of screwdrivers to pry it out all the while trying not to damage my package. Is it really too much trouble in the future take a few steps to place such packages on my porch? I would appreciate it. Really!
I have paid over $200 in late fees because I am not receiving my mail. I have lived in the same house for 20 years and this last year has been awful because I do not receive my bills. I had to pay $153 late fees because I did not receive my car registration renewals.
Please train employees to look at the addresses. I have tried to call the Postmaster but no one answers the telephone.
I just called to speak with a "human" and just keep getting the runaround loop of operators not available it would be nice for the recording to say ...leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we open our hours are…or whatever the issue is..
How does one make an appointment for Passports if nobody at this post office or any other post office within Fairifield answers the phone. It also says to leave a message and then the mailbox is full. Very frustrating!
