An accidental UPS package was dropped off at the South Pasadena USPS and the post office is saying they don’t have the package. If it wasn’t mailed and it’s not there where does USPS put UPS packages??? Do they throw them away?

After I paid online and printed 3 copies of the labels, I went to the post office to drop off my package. One of the employees, Kate, looked at my labels and kept saying I did not pay pointing only to the 2nd and 3rd copies although the 1st copy clearly stated postage paid. When I pointed out several times that I already paid online and asked them to verify using their system, Kate said she is not trained for online purchases and that I should pay again! Seriously? How is this resolving the issue?! When I showed them the email I received from USPS.com for the proof of payment, Kate said she doesn't know about that and referred me to the lead clerk, Kevin. Kevin said the same thing. Every staff said online USPS is totally different and they can't accept my package. In the end, Kevin would not receive my package and just told me that I could drop it in the orange dropbox myself as if I would be taking a risk. The staff have no knowledge, are unfriendly, lazy, and not helpful.

The staff are the finest in the area - very knowledgeable, helpful and competent - I have had mail lost by other offices - am very confident it will never happen at the South Pasadena office.

Hello, my name is Michael kenter I dropped off a package last Tuesday, around 5:15 after the last drop. It was scanned in and says departed post office, but my guess is it’s still there because it never reached a sorting facility. I have a case number, and the tracking number is 9505500014618065000234. Hopefully the post master calls me and tells me they found it, but I figured I’d leave this review in hopes to speed things up. The package is a birthday present and needs to be here within 4 more days! I’m a bit nervous it won’t make it now, e-mail me back USPS friends!

For the past week, I have been receiving 2 of my neighbor's mail in my mailbox daily. In addition, a package I was expecting was marked as delivered but was never placed in my mailbox or near my door. It is extremely frustrating. Tracking number for lost package is: 9300189843900746227145 I would appreciate a bit more attention to detail in service. Thanks.

I noticed that starting this year in 2015, it has taken up to two weeks for some of my mail to be delivered. I have always dropped my mail into one of the local mailboxes in South Pasadena. Prior to this year my mail has always been delivered within a few days. I originally thought it was the recipient holding off on posting my payments. But then I discovered that this happened to four other recipients, and one of my personal letters to someone I know didn't receive my mail until 12 days after I dropped it in the mailbox. And this was sent to a location around 50 miles away.
