J. Wickerd, the half day hours was mandated by USPS, they were going to close the location, just like Burnt Ranch, Big Bar and Junction City P.O.s But because of pressure of the people demanding it stay open they " USPS" not the employees... chose to keep open reduced hours, half day… so that we would not have to drive even further to conduct our business. The hours have nothing to do with, "stupid hour the people who run it do it so they dont have to work" And I find the employees are very prompt at distribution of the mail in the half day available to them, are pleasant and helpful.

The people who work there have no control over the hours and are very nice. The United States postal service tells her when she is to be open!
