I was in line and there was a woman of color - I was in the line that wrapped around, so I was directly in back of her. The woman at the front desk in Asian, she doesn’t have a name tag. She was so much meaner to the black woman - she had two small children with her that behaved really well and she said, Don’t bring THOSE kids her anymore. This is not a nursery school! She wanted to find out why her mail wasn’t held when she had submitted a stop mail document. She looked at her computer, without touching any keys, and said, there was nothing handed in. She asked the woman, my children are so well behaved. There is not a notice on the door saying no children. The woman waived her off and said, Next person. I gave the woman my number along with the number for NAACP. And told her I saw and heard everything. Starting pay there is something like 72k and she’s probably making over 100,000 - and her retirement is probably a fat check every month. When it was my turn, I asked for some paperwork to close my account. She said, get it online, Next. After I waited more than 30 minutes in line and had already looked online couldn’t find it. I should have staid right there, she probably would have made me wait an hour for it. She’d been that belligerent before. I complained to the big post office in Carmel mountain…nothing.

Times have changed, I don't shop at retail stores I do most, if not all my shopping online. I pay for shipping to my door. The only carrier that does not do this is the USPS. The products are shipped and travel from all over the world, but the post office fails to deliver the last few yards. They won't deliver to the door, which is what I paid for. Every other delivery service delivers to the door, but the post office fills out a ticket, places it in the mailbox, and requires me to drive 18 miles round trip, stand in line to pick my item up that I PAID to have delivered to my door. This also adds another day's delay. I paid for this service, the post office collects the money for this service but does not perform the service. Stop posing as a full-service delivery service or pay me $25.00 for my time and miles.

I still have to pick up my packages. I wish I could tell the vendors not to use the post office only because they fail to deliver to the door and again I paid money to the vendor for this service in the post office refuses to do it. This is receiving money for a service that the federal government department does not fulfill. Stop contracting with these suppliers if you’re unwilling to deliver the product to the door.

I have called several times. The phone rings and rings and then is dropped. Why doesn't anyone answer the phone? Or at least allow a message to recorded? Additionally, I received an email stating "no access to address". Neither the mail box, driveway, nor house has moved. Do they know where they are going?

She has always gone above and beyond on her very long route and her OUTSTANDING customer service is greatly appreciated! She just retired and we, and other customers on different streets, have not received our mail for two days! WE MISS YOU SCHATZI!!!!

Tried to get redelivery for a missed delivery. The website didn't work despite numerous re-freshing and trying on different computers, doesn't let me complete it b/c requires a field but doesn't actually let me enter anything. Calling this office several times just rings and rings and no one answers. Calling the main USPS number is just ENDLESS automated over and over and when I finally enter my tracking number it just says go to the website, which doesn't work. I NEED MY PACKAGE REDELIVERED. Absolutely horrible customer service b/c today it's non-existant.

To the person who just delivered 2 Amazon packages on little Klondike. I have never seen someone throw someone’s purchases so disrespectfully before. Both those boxes you just CHUCKED over my fence have glass light fixtures in them that I had been saving a long time to get.... so thanks for that. I feel very disrespected.

I had a package with live plants in it (There was also a sticker on the box alerting the post office) that needed a lot of water. My address was clearly on the box however the post office kept saying that my delivery “failed” and they held my package for 6 days, killing my plants. So they killed my damn plants out of laziness because they didn’t want to come up to the driveway. Though every amazon delivery driver was able to do it without issue. It’s only the USPS that cant handle this at my new house.

Ramona post office has a bad rep, but I have praise for one employee there. Kirsten helped me through almost 2 months of trying to get USPS to deliver on their promise of insurance for items mailed through Priority flat rate boxes. If it weren't for her, I never would have gotten my money back for the insured item.

Dave Green was the best. I wish he could come out of retirement because his replacement is incompetent. For weeks we have been getting mail that belongs to a neighbor 1/4 mile away. I called in a complaint about this. If we are getting their mail, who is getting ours? Finally it happened; got an email that the PO had delivered a package, but it was nowhere to be found. The next day a neighbor brought three packages that were ours and another neighbor brought over tax documents from our bank that were delivered to them. Two different neighbors were delivered OUR mail in the same day! This has got to stop before it causes a real disaster.

The Ramona Post Office stands out among all other post offices that I have dealt with over the years because the one woman who works at the counter is extremely rude and not the least bit helpful. She does not appear to like her job, she appears to get angry if asked to do anything. Mail delivery has also been a big problem ever since I moved to Ramona. They need to clean house at that place.

Oh my god! Yes she is VERY rude! Evidence that there is no oversight in the Ramona post office. She’s been there for 20 years+ she has always been that way. I don’t know her name or anyone else there. She seems to be the only Asian woman working there. I don’t want to sound racist, but that is how I can identify her. I hope she’ll retire soon so the rest of us can have a good postal experience. She does not say hello and ignores you if you say it. it’s wham bam thank you mam! Yes, many boxes disappear in the post office, or they are opened when they arrive. No matter who u complain to she will be there until retirement. Thank you so much USPS, she is gold and nothing can touch her.

We recently moved from Ramona in town out to the estates. Last week we went to our mailbox on #12 our address is on Daza Drive. When we went to it there was someone else’s mail in it. Now we can’t use the key at all. My son had the house before us and I had him on the phone as I tried it. Need to know what to do.

The postman put the wrong key into our mailbox, switching three of our boxes (During Christmas time), with one of our neighbors. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is unacceptable. Please check last names! If it doesn’t match, don’t deliver.

Am afraid that you have one or more employees that are stealing. Since November, a package from Arizona, envelopes {twice} mailed to Vista, Cal., have never reached their destination. Mailed the envelopes at the Post Office in Ramona, packaged was mailed from Arizona. Please look into this matter!

Would not let me send out a company letter because I had a company card. Even though the letter had the company name on it and so did the credit card. I was accused of fraud for 6 dollars to certify return receipt a company letter...

I have had more than one package not delivered to my home yet it is listed as delivered or attempted delivery. I will be home and I will receive notification that USPS attempted to deliver when they didn't. They are just too lazy to walk up my front stairs and ring my WORKING doorbell. There has been more than one time myself or a family member has been home. I am left waiting the weekend to get a package I was wanting to use over this weekend. It's no wonder the USPS is bleeding money.

I am extremely disappointed with the Ramona post office. I put in a mail hold request to have my mail held at the branch and not delivered from Sept. 1st to Sept. 30th. I arrived back home on the 19th. My son-in-law showed up with a handful of my mail and said he found it all over the ground at my mailbox and my locked box was full of delivered mail!! I have no idea if any mail was taken while I was away and don't know why the post office did not hold my mail as requested.

First of all the people who work there are very rude. They are unwilling to help and none of my Christmas presents were delivered to the right address. Second, don't live within a 3 mile radius because they spend a couple hours every morning around 4 am power washing the trucks and disturb my family as they are trying to sleep. I will never use the usps in Ramona again.
