This post office is a joke but I'm not laughing. Several occasions (4) to b exact have this misrouted my mail gave me someone else's mail with a completely different address said they did not know hot to refund me $20 credit since it was a debit card and returning my mail back to sender but it never even reached me. Plus their hours r ridiculous. New staff that actual knew what they were doing would be a great improvement!!

Been going to this post office since 1995 near my residence and have always received my mail and packages just fine. I do wish they were open till 5 instead of 4 and had more lockers for packages so I don't have to wait in line to retrieve them. I honestly think this tiny Post Office has outgrown the larger population that uses it now days. Over all I am pleased with the many postal employees I have met behind their counter when I do need help. The only complaint I do have is that when I do mail a package, before regular U.S. mail cost way less and now that same service is only .04 cents less then the high cost of priority mail that forces me into paying very inflated high prices and insurance even if I do not need insurance in order to get any package mailed now days. Before regular postage used to be a lot less then just .04 cents less and why such a dramatic hike cost just for regular U.S. postage to mail a package? Recently I had to pay $18.63 just to mail a padded orange envelope that had 2 thin coloring books and a tiny plastic toy in it from Pauma Valley CA to Paulsen AZ not that far away.

The hours here are the worst, probably, in the country! 1st off most people have to commute 30 to 50 minutes to work, so no way can anyone make the 4pm close! But hey Saturdays right? NOPE. They are not even open on Saturdays! 2nd they don't deliver to anyone's door so they always leave slips and guess what you can never pick them up because of the hours! You have to find people to get your mail! Also if you get a package notice you can't pick it up until after 3:30pm and they close at 4pm!! 30 minutes and sometimes there not even ready after 3:30!

The Pauma Valley Post Office is the worst; especially their mail person that delivers mail inside the Pauma Valley Golf Course. Upon numerous occasions; and it's getting worse; my mail is misrouted, packages never reach me and now I'm starting to have to pay for lost items. The Post Office and the courier should be held accountable for misrouted mail that results in late charges and packages that never reach the intended patron.
