My mother had a phone come to her through the mail, but instead of actually getting the phone she got a box wrapped in a note from the post office saying her package had been damaged. The same thing happened to a neighbor of hers who had ordered some coins to give to his grandkids. Several other people have had packages arrive that have been 'damaged' and nothing inside. Usually things of value. Not knowing this, I had a large box of baby items mailed to my mothers house, because I was afraid it would be stolen off my porch when I wasn't home. Can you guess what happened to my box? It's one thing for an item or two to be damaged or lost from the post office, entirely different when it's a reaccuring thing for multiple people in the area. I think it's time for this post office to be investigated.
