So the online mail thing is crap and so is the post office. I have been waiting on a check to come in and it's been sitting at the post office for 3 days, they have yet to scan it or anything, and good luck talking with anyone on phone .. my mail is federal and there is no reason for them to hold it! This has to be illegal!!!!!

I am frustrated! We have made 3 attempts to the post office and have spoken to the post master and 2 employees about our mail carrier. He has stuffed boxes in our mailbox damaging mail. He is not coming up our driveway to deliver large packages! I have an elderly parent living with us and we have purchased needed items to be delivered!! We have lived here for 29 years and have never had this issue before! Please please please take care of this. We have a circular driveway there is nothing interfering with our front door. UPS and other companies deliver to our door without any issue!!! Please see that this is taken care of!!

I am hoping to contact my mail carrier. I am missing a certified letter from 12 days ago and unfortunately no one seems to know where it is. I understand you are all very busy but this is very important to me. I have had an extremely difficult time getting my mail and packages since I moved to this location. I try to be understanding but several times I feel that the staff not only are not able to help me but they don't seem to care. Im sorry if I am wrong but I have been made feel this way more than a couple times. If I can please get some advice on how to proceed in getting my letter I would be very grateful.

My husband and I live on 12th st.We are an older couple and I Just got out of the hospital on Friday. My Husband said we have to drive to Yuba city to pick up our mail? He heard it on the news? And that we both have to go with our I.D's to claim our mail? What if we are not fit to drive? I know some of my friends who dont drive. How are they suppose to get their mail? Can you tell me if this is temporary? Due to the ash? We have bills that are due.

So Ive been waiting for weeks to hear from my son who is in basic training. I get notification my mail is in Oroville. I make the drive to Yuba City with hopes to get a long awaited and over due letter from my recruit but no. So my mail and packages are sitting in Oroville! I have confirmation they're there. Get it together Oroville PO! no excuse for this. Fed EX is still running, Yuba City Po is still running as is small town PO.... this is uncalled for. Y'all forget your slogan??

The post office is closed, I saw it on the news.it's ridiculous, they expect thousands of people to go to the yuba city post office to get our mail. What a horrible mess that would be there s got to be a better solution than that

Carrie Lester. I live on Biggs Ave. Haven't gotten our mail in two or three days either. I am determine to get my Thermalito water bill sent off. Going to call the Post Office tomorrow to see what's up. Wonder if it might be because of all the ash and smoke from the fires.

I go to the P. O. every day and I’m shocked at the condition of the grounds. There is trash all over, the bushes are overgrown or dying and the steps need to have a power washer taken to them. It’s bad enough the homeless are constantly asking for money but the whole place needs to be cleaned. Sad commentary since this is an historical site. 😕

I sent a card with master card and Starbucks gift cards inside. When the card arrived it had been placed in a plastic bag and the gift cards were missing. I contacted the Oroville post office and spoke with the postal inspector. She said when a package is damaged, it is placed in a specific spot designated as "loose or recover." Even if the card had been damaged, the gift cards still should have been with the card. The only other persons who would have handled the card would have been postal workers. So someone in the postal service knows where these cards went. I would hope the USPS would pursue this matter and find the missing gift cards. The worst part is the disappointment my granddaughter experienced when she opened her card and the gift cards were missing.

Oroville Post Office charges $50.00 for a postal key to residents of apartments but, if you reside in a house the key is free ! Homes in my neighborhood check their mail at a common box the same way apartment residents do. Why is this done in this manner?

I am so done with these incompetent delivery men. Every time my delivery man has a substitute my mail will be delivered to the wrong address and there is nothing I can do about it. This is how it has been for nearly 4 years. After the first year the neighbors on 1860 18th St has just began to keep or trash my mail. The next day when I am able to contact the post office about my undelivered mail they can verify my package was indeed scanned into the neighbors box however there is nothing we can do since the neighbor claims they never received it. I'm the only one shit outta luck because there is absolutely nothing I can do. I've talked to as many people as I can at the post office and all they can say is that they've done all they can to Flagg the boxes so the substitute delivery man will pay more attention but that is the best they can offer; I've called the sheriffs dept and they will take reports for any future issues but can't do anything because stealing mail is a federal law, I assume they mean they cannot enforce locally. I was expecting a package today and tracked my package carefully but it was already delayed by two days so when the tracking updated this morning stating that the expected delivery date would be today I wasn't alarm when the mailman drove by and the package was not in my box. Of coarse this evening I look in my email and received an email saying that my package was delivered this afternoon I went to check and no mail; sent my husband to the neighbors and they claim they received nothing. Of coarse it would be Saturday evening so there is no way of contacting these **** up's that delivered my mail to the wrong address again until Monday. On Monday the postman will verify that the substitute did deliver my package to the wrong address, they will offer to go back and check the box and confront the neighbors and then call back and once again apologize for screwing me over. Why the hell do I have to go out of my way to pay and utilize a PO box; I completely blame the post office for hiring and keeping incompetent delivery men and the neighbors for being nasty humans and keeping/trashing my mail/packages. This is not right, and the fact that there is nothing I can do about my packages.

Stop being a victim. Obviously nobody is going to or able to solve your problem. Either aim a security camera on your mailbox and charge your neighbors with a federal offense and/or get a p.o. box.

This has got to be the worse post office ever! There's a new postal clerk who is slower than molasses in January! The line is out the door, and he's moving along at a snail's pace. Why does this post office always get the dead beats? All the good ones go back to the main office on Robinson St., and we get stuck with clerks who can't speak English and don't move too fast. What's up being closed from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. Can't you send someone down there to fill in for an hour? Don't get in line around 11:30 lest the window be slammed in your face because he's going to lunch! Now I know why the postal service is going broke!Furthermore, who puts up the mail? There isn't a week that goes by where someone elses mail shows up in my box! I now shove it back through the box and they can bend over and pick it up! There's no more quality service at the Ophir substation post office! Someone needs to be FIRED!
