Our PO box is like a family heirloom, it was my husband's grandmothers then his parents and now ours. That makes it over 60 years as our address. Its been dependable and convienent and all the employees over the years have been pleasant. Something you probably dont hear often, Thanks!

I was told on July 2, 2022 that my new Mckinleyville mailbox keys (paid for In Advance at the Arcata branch) would be ready by two WEEKS later. It is now July 16, 2022 and I haven't heard a thing about them! I am a senior citizen who does not drive and get all my Bills by MAIL ( I don't DO online accounts!). In other words, I need my mail to pay my bills! I had to get a ride to Arcata just to pay the $25 and give them my contact info. All these "environmentalists" don't want anyone driving cars (except them?), so THIS is my "reward" for not leaving their bogus "footprint"?

Our local mailbox was rusted out at the bottom. I had a feeling someone was going to take it it. The person delivering the mail should of taken notice of it weeks ago but here we are with a stolen box with no replacement for four days. Please address and fix the situation. Location Washington and school rd.

I really like this little post office, but the lobby with all the po boxes is supposed to be open until 7 pm, even on the weekends. I drive 15 miles from Eureka to get my mail, which is why I will be cancelling my po box soon. It isn't always open when I drive up there, even if I get there by 3 pm on a Saturday or Sunday. Yet the posted hours remain the same. Please post the new hours if there are new hours or open when you say you will. But thank you for otherwise being a helpful post office.
