My wife (70 yrs old), tried to mail important letters three times today between noon and 1230pm. She couldn't access the mail drop at the corner of Catalina and Barcelona, because a USPS Van was parked in front of it. She's 70. There is no good reason for her to have to get out of her car to mail a letter at a letter drop. She came home and gave the mail to me. I tried the same way to mail her letters but the Van was still parked in front of it. I mailed her letters at the Mail Stop in the plaza instead. When I came out I tooted my horn for a good two minutes straight from behind the Van. Ignored. I finally got someone's attention by screaming at them, which is what I do when people ignore me. Then I waS confronted by the eight Postal workers doing absolutely nothing and told to leave... a public parking lot. The boy who threatened me was more than surprised when I got out of my cart and asked what he was going to do. There was a snotty USPS woman there too, who threatened to call the police. I waited. She didn't. So, now I'm writing this to you. FYI: Their behavior was wrong in every way and my angry response was provoked. All they had to do was move the Van. We have been having rural mail delivery for over 20 years and continue to have an issue with the mail carrier urinating next to our mailbox. I understand that he may need to go to the bathroom, but to do right next to and on our mailbox Can send you a photo of the most recent example. Have caught him in the act before and have asked him to not do it, but yet it continues.

We have NOT received any mail for the past few weeks. We are remote and only have mail delivery 2x per week. This week we received many months worth of magazines and past due bills. I had to contact the company to explain! In the last few months we have been receiving more and more of our Neighbors mail. I always try to give it to the correct address, but I am wondering how much of my mail is going elsewhere and not returned. There is a very large issue with the remote mail delivery in the Livermore valley!

I am sick and tired of the po box part of the main post office being closed. The least you could do is have a collection box in front of the post office to collect mail, not just the one locked behind the fence and gates in the parking lot. You could have the po boxes so that people who get mail there can get it even on Sundays.

THIS POST OFFECE AND POST MASTER SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE US POST MASTER GENERAL, BECAUSE THEY HAVE DENIED PEOPLE WHO HAVE POST OFFICE BOXES AND PEOPLE WHO NEED TO DROP OFF MAIL THE RIGHT TO DO SO.

People, if your package can't be tossed or dropped without damage then you haven't done it right. Your package might be on a truck for miles. A double box is best, it's on you.

Every time I receive a package in the mail it is either damaged or been opened. Or I just don't receive it at all. I just received a very important and very fragile package and it was deliberately opened. It looked like a damn bear mailed it yet the packing tape was cut with something sharp. If this continues I WILL CALL A LAWYER AND SUE THE POSTAL SERVICE!

Why is it that the USPS delivery folk cannot try to place packages out of sight from the street. Hard to believe they don't know about porch pirates. The FedEx and UPS folks all will place packages out of view and ring the doorbell

I have been increasingly frustrated by late mail deliveries, mail stuffed in the mailbox and most annoyingly, my outgoing mail has not been taken. So hoping this is a temporary situation and that maybe my regular mailman is on vacation!

In the last 3-4+ months we have been receiving more and more of our Neighbors mail. I always try to give it to the correct address, but I am wondering how much of my mail is going elsewhere and not returned. Your carriers often seem to on their phones and not really giving a damn.

I would say every review sounds typical of the service in Livermore. The old Indian dude is very rude the old Asian lady is extremely slow. And once I was in downtown Livermore and watched a mail truck pull away from the side of the road where they ere parked but then would up all the way to the left and was in the lane of on coming traffic and they didn’t seem to know they were on the wrong side of the road and we were at a extremely close to a stop light. I’m sure there are some good workers but I think they are definitely out numbered by the idiots that work there 10 to 1.

Not a single blue postal box in the city any more. Now, the lobby that is supposed to be open from 5am to 6pm on Sundays is locked tight. No notice to say anything or officially note that the hours are wrong--nothing!

A package was delivered to my home on April 30th requiring a signature. No one was home and a notification was left. After 3 days, no attempt was made to redeliver the item. I went down to the post office only to be told that it was "lost" and a supervisor would contact me by the end of the day. No one called. When I went on-line to request a redelivery, there was no item matching my receipt. Of course, there is no one available to answer my question or help me. Frustrated.

I am so sad when I drive by MY post office and see the weeds that are taller than my grandchildren. Please take pride in our city and cut down the weeds. Just as a suggestion...place pavers or cement it so that you don't have to worry about it anymore. Because it is not a priority to you or your employees, think of your citizens, please.

Had a package delivered yesterday when we were not home. Our security camera caught the delivery person walk up the walk way, didn't step up the porch, he just threw the package on the porch and didn't even attempt to ring the doorbell. Even if we are home the delivery person doesn't ring the doorbell, we will open the door and surprise, there are packages there. This wasn't our normal mail carrier, in fact he came shortly after the first guy and picked up the thrown package and sort of hid it with the package he was delivering and rang the doorbell. The way the first guy delivered the package, it's a good thing it wasn't fragile!

My apartment community Heritage Park Livermore it seems that all packages are now delivered to the management offices and it's up to us to contact said offices to get our packages that used to be delivered to my door. What kind of contract has the US mail have that packages are no longer delivered to customers? I just saw a commercial and the post person ran up stairs and with a smile delivered the package to the customer. I guess all I want to know is this new delivery system approved by the US Mail. Sincerely.

There's a Priority Mail box across the street on the sidewalk. It does not belong on our street which is Xavier Way. It's addressed to a "Cole Rees" on East Avenue, the cross street. Tweeted to a Cole Rees, hope he gets the package! 7/22/17

The phone number is not in working order. Imagine that! I went to the USPS in Livermore today to process my passport application. The women was okay, but then she told me that my Minnesota birth certificate was not authentic because it did not have an embossed stamp on it. Well, lady, the State of MN issues security colored coded paper INSTEAD of a raised stamp! Get educated before you put people in these positions!

Horrible customer service! That old Asian lady! Why would you put a sticker the size of my pinkie that's say "fragile" when nobody can see it or read it and then you slam my package onto the other boxes so hard the dang screen would of cracked!

I bought a bigger more secure mailbox. Dangerous yet nessasary medication needs to be mailed to my house. Mailperson refuses to put pills in mailbox. They fit in everyway. If these pills are left out and a kid steals it and takes the too many pills they could DIE almost immediately. I don't want to come home to a DEAD child who took pills not properly delivered by the postal employee. Do something USPS or you will be responsible!!!!!

I usually go to the PO the next town over. Parking here is atrocious. The lobby is trashed. They never have enough windows open no matter the time of day or how long the line is. Went today to find out why a package mailed Nov 22 to NY has never even left the state. They pulled up the package tracking information which I already had - and the answer was "it happens". That is not an answer, Not an explanation. And all it did was make an unhappy customer angrier

Customer service sucks period. I have been tried to call several time to find out where is my certified mail that they did not even try to re-delivery my letter even though i left them a note with instruction to put in my mail box. I saw the mailman at home and asked him if he saw the note that I left yesterday and he said that he did and gave it to the accountable clerk but she did not give the letter to him for re-delivery. Thus, this let me wonder if they are checking their inbox or care about it at all. Bad bad bad. The mailman even said that I should call the office and find out before come to the line up. Thank you Mr.

My wife has a severe walking handicap. We have a handicap sticker. We went to an important meeting at the building where Sauced is, next to the Bankhead theater. Date 09/28/2016, Time 1:45 PM. There are handicapped spaces there. One of your postal trucks, 0213191, was parked in one of the handicapped spaces. We pulled up to the spot as the driver was getting into her van. Our handicap sticker was displayed. She grabbed more mail, left the truck to go back into the building. Our honked at her, she ignored me, like we were not there. These handicapped spaces are a premium in Livermore. When they are taken by those not handicapped a complete disservice is given, and against the law. Please advise your employees to obey the law, take head on where they park and Stay Out of handicapped spaces.
