I like the PO and the people who work here. I am just really frustrated that I cannot access my PO Box on the weekend. I know it was due to vagrants (according to a prior sign). I am sure the USPS is required to keep our access to our PO Boxes open on the weekends.

The Elverta Post office grounds are in shambles. Poor reflection on the community. They are in between postmasters and awaiting the start of the appointed postmaster in order to move forward in needed areas, which is long overdue. Please follow-up asap. Looks like an abandoned building. Unfortunate that it has been neglected for so long. Community volunteers would likely even go over and, at least, mow the high weeds. Hopeful that repairs, lawn care and maintenance will be addressed sooner than later. Thank you.

What the devil is wrong with you guys? Why is a US postal office closed on Saturdays? Why whenI call the office do I get a msg stating the office is closed? No option to find hours, no voice mail option, no NOTHING BUT "OFFICE IS CLOSED! UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE BY ELVERTA POSTAL OFFICE AND USPS FOR ALLOWING THIS TO CONTINUE.

This is, by far, the best post office I've ever been to. The worker at the counter is always super nice, which is a change from most post offices. I even chose to open my PO Box here, instead of the post office that actually services the town I live in (really, they are equidistant from my residence) because of the extremely friendly people who work here. Why can't all post offices be like this one?
