The mail delivered to Casaba Rd sometimes does not get in box. Meaning there are days when there is no mail at all, no sales paper or even a flyer. This has been happening for a year and a half on and off. If they do not like this route, find someone who will do their job. The stray dogs seem to have been picked up and you can spray humans if they are an issue. This time I mailed my rent on the 3rd, and process happens that afternoon/night and shouldve been mailed on 5th. Instead my rent was late and didn't get processed until the 6th. Who will explain that one to me as I might be charged for y'all personnel faux pas. When I called 3xs the line is busy and it only list one number. If you call other it will transfer you rgg back to this office on Rancho Rd
called the passport assistance line to set an appointment to get a passport. The nice man made me an apt at 8 am to get my passport done at the Adelanto post office. The employees there stated they don't ever see appts made so they don't check the scheduler and I stood inside the lobby for an hour to wait since they open at 9. Then the website and apt scheduler both told me they can take a passpor6t photo on site. The employee said the camera left/broke years ago. I had to leave, find a cvs, and have my photo taken and drive back. Horrible horrible service. These people don't care at all. Oh and now my cluster box was vandalized and its going on three weeks with no fix. Tried to call and cant get thru. Busy signal Wonderful.
The information given here about passport hours is false. Adelanto now only processes passports between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. You must arrive by 11:30 a.m. You cannot verify this by phone as I tried to do because they keep their phone off the hook. Our Hesperia post office told me that the hours were 9:00 to 3:00 so Adelanto isn't properly informing other post offices of their change in hours. Hope this information helps others avoid wasting their time and gas. I told the clerk at the Adelanto post office that they least they could do is put a recorded message on their phone if they don't want to bother answering it. How about updating the information on the web? Probably too much to ask of a government agency!
This is the worse post office I have ever experienced. Even if the lines are short you have to wait for long periods of time. If you need to know any information you can never get through the phone is always off the hook.
